Just got back from a vacation where this thing was put to the test. We were bringing two suitcases one small and one large, so we had to play the game of keeping the weight below 50lbs. The smaller suitcase had the more dense but smaller items, and we fit the lighter but more quantity into the big suitcase.Having this to weigh our bags before getting to the airport relieved so much stress. Once we got to the airport and put the bags on the scale, it provided that this device was very accurate. We weighed our big suitcase in the hotel at 41-42 lbs. When we got to the airport and put it on the bag drop scale they read 43 lbs. Not exact, but a very good idea of the weight of your bag.This is going to be a lifesaver on trips! It also came with an battery which is an additional plus, as they are not AA/AAA so unless you have 2032s sitting around you'd need to get those too.You can measure in pounds lbs or Kg, there is also a temperature readout F and C, although I'm not sure of the uses of that for a luggage weight.It is super easy to use, you just strap it around the handle for your bag, turn it on, set to Lb or Kg, and life the device.

Admittedly, I got this to track the weight of my massive kitten. We don't have a scale in the house, but she was growing fast and I needed to find a way to keep track: enter, the luggage scale.Now, obviously, my cat is not luggage and this was made to strap onto a bag. How did I weigh her you might ask? EASY: place cat into lightweight reusable bag, attach scale to bag straps, gently lift, give treats after. The screen is bright and easy to read, seems generally accurate, and gets the job done. Now I know that she's over twice the size of my other cat!

Great for a general estimate of how much your luggage will weigh so that there aren't any surprises at the airport! Took off a star because it weighed multiple luggage just a touch under what the scales at the airport check-in counters say. Granted.. maybe those scales were wrong. Not sure. But the star will remain off because it's also a bit tough to get a stable reading. Good otherwise.

I just purchased this and used it twice, so I don't know about battery life, etc. What I CAN say is that it's awesome! The strap easily goes around any luggage handle, and it weighs to the ounce. I've been traveling for years and broke into a cold sweat numerous times waiting in line wondering if my bag would be under the 50 lb. limit....wish I had purchased this long ago! It's a great price, very lightweight, good size handle to hold while weighing your luggage. Really a sweet deal.

The luggage scale works great. I've tried testing to see if it's exact, but it's hard to tell. I weighed a 10 lb. kettle bell and it was just under, but I don't even know if those are exact so, I'm not too worried about it. I'll just plan to assume it's a tiny bit under when I weigh my bags that way I don't go over by a couple ounces.It's easy to use and has a nice band that loops up and hooks to the top hook.This item is super light too so I plan to bring it in my bag or my carry on just in case I buy a bunch of stuff to bring back from vacation.

Works and works well. It’s a nice size and weight and is accurate. It has a bright display that is easy to read in a dark hotel room when you have to get up super early to leave for the airport! lol it’s easy enough that a kid could use it if they can lift the weight of the baggage themself. Highly recommend and it’s so economical why wouldn’t you get it!?

Only downside I can think of is that there are no markings on the battery compartment to say which way to install it. 50/50 chance on getting it correct, I guessed wrong the first time, so guess it's not the day to buy a lottery ticket!I highly recommend this scale to take the guesswork out of how much your baggage weighs. Much easier than trying to balance your bag on the bathroom scale!
