This is one cracking little product that's easy to use. Just stick the cup on the hot plate until it warms up and keeps the heat for you. The design is basic and simply swith it off by the button at the back.

Item came well packed, the package contains the heater and instructions.Operation is simple, timer and temperature buttons clear on the front of the unit, the display is clear and the buttons are responsive and flush, so easy to wipe clean.The heated area is in glass or ceramic, the body of the unit injection moulded durable feeling plastic.The heater is responsive, reaching the required temperature quickly, which is something I like. The problem arises not from the build but from simple thermodynamics, the unit had no great problem keeping a hot drink hot enough (there was a gradual drop in temperature until the set up reaches a kind of equilibrium), but you need to be quite smart with your choice of mug.With mugs that have very flat bottoms and a good area of contact with the plate, 100%, good job. With mugs that have a ring around the base or other device that keeps the bulk of the base away from the plate, not so good.The unit is good, it does what it should (with some though on the part of the user) and will keep that drink warm, but it has a far easier job with a carefully selected mug.

The buttons are useless you have to hold it down so hard just to change the temperature, it's annoying and waste of money

Transformed my coffee drinking. Easy to use (though I sometimes forget that I have to press the temperature button at least once for it to start heating). Not much bigger than a standard coaster, so fits in well with my desk organisation.

I bought this as I liked to the fact that the whole of the top is the heating plate. However this item is very small and the on off button is at the back of the item making it hard it turn it off if it is still hot.This also did not heat my drink as well as the other one I purchased so I returned this item
