Easily stood under chair and not in the way when stored behind chair. I purchased this after getting tension headaches and stiff neck from having a bent head reading my kindle. I can now relax in my chair with a straight neck and read near or far, however you like to read. I tried the arms you connected to tables, but this is by far much better as you can relax away from a table.

Perfect for my use. It's incredibly sturdy and I never feel like my phone is at risk of falling out. I use it to film my mini lathe which is on a 32" tall table and the height is perfect.The base is very thin so it's easy to slide it out of the way against my drawers. It's also heavy enough that I know there's no chance of it tilting over.

Rarely take time to review unless item is exceptional, so here we go. Out of the box the quality of the metal and weight of base was surprisingly top standard for the price. Felt alot more expensive and I handle mic / lighting stands frequently. Easy to assemble, straight forward function. A little shorter than expected, I'm 163 cm and expected it to be a bit taller but no problem can elevate when using as its for home recording. Would also consider using for presentations as its a nice piece of kit. Stability really surprising. Weighty base but very sleek which was a bonus. One concern was the strength of the tension mount. Was very strong and did have concerns about putting my iPad pro 12.9 against the force. Seemed to handle the pressure just hoping it isn't causing weaknesses. Took a star off for tge force of tension. Would prefer manual adjustment but aside from this, what a great piece of tech! Kids used it watching a movie in bed before I've got to road test it properly. Overall game changer! :)

Really great stand. Excellent gift for friend suffering with back pain and carpal tunnel as it helps maintain better posture and removed pain issues with holding an iPad.

Super stand. The design is so goodaking it really easy to adjust the height, angle the phone or tablet. Doesn't weigh a lot so makes it really easy to move from room to room. Holds phone or tablet without thinking about it falling over. Really stable product.Highly recommend.

Total rubbish. No quality control clearly. The pull chuck was missing and the thread that joins the two poles together was at an acute angle meaning the bar was bent when assembled. I waited too long for this to arrive to have so many problems with it. Refund requested. Avoid this product.Update 10-2-25: having contacted the seller, they responded quickly and had a replacement unit in my hands two days later. This one was fine and works great. I still think their QC leaves a lot to be desired but their customer service seems top notch. I have therefore changed my star rating to three stars as opposed to the original one star.

I have a bad habit of watching my tablet at bedtime but got a bit fed up having to hold it and dropping it as I nodded off to sleep this done the trick, so when I know I have had enough I just push it away and even if I forget it isn't falling to the floor. It's easy to put the tablet in and take it out but holds it securely enough without damaging it it looks well made so I'm confident it should last. I can only comment on my own findings and for me this is just what I wanted.
