Nephew loved it and it actually holds his attention post holiday.

Bought it for my son for his birthday and he loved it. Easy to put together and to operate.Good quality. My son had fun putting together.

My 9 year old granddaughter loved the set. She was especially thrilled with the lab coat and the nametag. The set includes a large assortment of fun experiments appropriate for kids up to 9 years I would say. For older kids I consider it to be too simplistic. My objection with the set is that, while it is fun for the kid to do the experiments it is not a teaching tool. I would have liked to see a description for each experiment that explains the reason for the chemical reactions happening.
