I wasn't super impressed when I got this 1:24 scale Escalade diecast car as a gift for my nephew. It didn't look detailed enough to me but it was what he wanted so it was an instant hit, lol. Right out of the box, it really looks like a miniature version of the real thing. The paint job, lights, and sound effects add a fun, realistic touch that kids will love.The pull-back action is smooth and satisfying, and the quality of the build feels sturdy enough to handle plenty of play. It's the perfect mix of fun, imagination, and hands-on tinkering.What really made this toy stand out though is how much playtime it logged. My nephew was so into it, he started looking up videos on how to customize these cars! It turned into a creative project, not just a toy, and it pulled him away from his tablet for hours, which was my diabolical plan from the go as I am now locked in on a soul level in a fierce battle to get these tablets away from kids!So...If you're looking for a gift that looks cool and encourages more screen-free time, this diecast Escalade is a great choice! Nice car but has scratches all over the windows and sunroof. I’m not sure if I received a used one but it has more damage than it should if it was new. I like the sounds and the pull back and go feature works, the lights light up and all the doors, hood and trunk open. I just wish it wasn’t so scratched.

My son was so excited when this arrived. The lights and sounds are a fun bonus, and the pull-back feature works great. It’s made of solid metal and feels really sturdy. He’s played with it nonstop since we got it. Definitely a great gift for any car-loving kid.

I don't know why this is the case for the one I received, but I cannot get the doors of this toy Escalade open at all. The toy looks nice. Can be give to a child or put on a shelf to display with other die cast vehicles. I just wish I could figure out how to get the doors open. Otherwise, it is really nice.
