Just what I needed for my vinyl player
Great little amp, I can't believe how good it is. After my old Sony amp gave up on me, I was looking for something cheap that'd allow me to listen to records again, and this thing does the job brilliantly. Mind you, you will still need to buy the cables separately. But I can't fault this for the price, it does the job and the sound is excellent.

Great Quality Out of the box
I’ve been using this Phono preamp for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say, it’s been a pleasant surprise for the price. While it’s not a perfect product, it does a lot of things very well and has definitely improved my audio setup in meaningful ways. First off, the sound quality is great. The signal-to-noise ratio is good—I didn’t notice any hiss or interference even when the volume was cranked up.The build quality also stands out. The aluminum alloy body feels durable and premium, yet it’s lightweight and compact enough to fit comfortably into my setup without taking up much space. The volume knob on top is a nice touch—it’s smooth to operate and conveniently placed. Plus, the anti-skid pads keep it steady, so I don’t have to worry about it moving around.I also appreciate the multiple output options. Having both RCA and 3.5mm outputs makes this versatile. I even tried hooking it up between my phone and car stereo out of curiosity, and the sound improvement was noticeable there, too. There are a couple of minor drawbacks. The first is the volume level—it seems like I have to turn it up quite high to get the output to match the rest of my system. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something to be aware of.Also, it doesn’t come with the extra set of phono cables you’ll need to connect it to your setup. I was lucky to have an extra pair lying around, but it would’ve been nice if they were included. Lastly, while the indicator light is designed to be subtle and not harsh on the eyes, it could be a bit dimmer for my taste during nighttime use. It’s a small detail, but worth mentioning.Overall, it is a fantastic little preamp for the price. Whether you’re looking to upgrade your turntable setup, boost passive pickups, or experiment with other audio devices, it’s a versatile and reliable option. Sure, there are some small improvements I’d love to see, but for what it offers at this price point, I’m thoroughly satisfied.

Poor sound quality and a loud ‘earth hum’
Do not buy, poor quality product that wrecks sound quality. Was very wary of this product as it did not have a single user review until now. All the reviews are vine reviews for free products.I was right to be wary. I wasn’t expecting much, it’s a cheap preamp and I’m no audiophile, I just wanted something better than the preampbuilt into my turntable as it’s pretty quiet for output. So I turned off the built in preamp and plugged this in. Immediately there was a very loud and pronounced ‘earth’ hum through my amp as soon as the preamp powered on. This was with the earthing pin on the back connected to the earth on the amp. When playing a record the hum is even louder and the mid and treble in what you are listening to is completely flattened almost to the point of being removed , whilst bass is boosted excessively. This really isn’t worth the money, on indeed *any* money.Used for just long enough to make sure I wasn’t doing something stupid and test with some other cables and then repacked and booked for a return.Looks ok, very easy to set up and connect but ultimately let down by what are likely to be cheap internals that make it worse than what is built into the turntable in the factory.

A high-quality preamp
The NEOHIPO TP10 Phono Preamp is a quality turntable amplifier that delivers great sound quality. It has an impressive Signal-to-Noise Ratio (89Db) and gives clear low-noise audio. The preamp adheres to RIAA standards (Recording Industry Association of America defining how the frequency response of a phono preamp should be adjusted for accurate reproduction of vinyl records). The TP10 has multiple output options, including RCA and 3.5mm headphone jacks, making it compatible with a wide range of devices. It has intuitive controls, e.g. the independent volume knob and switches provide smooth operation. The box is stylish, and as it is made from aluminium it is durable and resistant to corrosion.Additional design elements include a silicone anti-skid pad for stable placement, a soft indicator light that’s easy on the eyes, and a user-friendly interface. The device is a good choice for a quality preamp.

Compact preamp
This is a compact and nicely built preamp in a metal case. It's equipped with stereo phono connectors for connection to the record deck/amplifier. It also has a 3.5mm jack socket for headphones. There is a small push button to toggle between the phono outputs and the headphone jack accompanied with a small led that switches between blue and green to signify selected output. Output level is controlled by a large rotary know on the top of the device.I have used this in conjunction with a Behringer USB input device to rip vinyl records. The sound quality is excellent but probably not quite up the the standard of my fono mini that connects directly to USB but at twice the price.Overall its a great preamp at that price point.

Surprisingly good, excellent value
This little pre-amp is ideal for playing a turntable through an amplifier or headphones. I use mine to raise the turntable output to line level so I can record straight from vinyl. It makes it a simple job to transfer vinyl to MP3 / FLAC files for playing through SONOS kit or the car.It has a quality look and feel about it which belies the price. In terms of audio quality it is not likely to be endorsed highly by audiophiles who like their electronics to be hand crafted by elves from pure crystal, but for me it does the job well.

Kills hum
Love this preamp it killed off a mains borne hum problem I had before and reduced down to a minimum. Made a difference to the sound too. Quite a big improvement so I highly reccomended this. Can't do a video due to copyright restrictions otherwise could demo.
