I don't normally remember to write reviews here but felt I needed to tell the world about this product. I live in fairly rural area where I struggled to get even 2 bars of service on Verizon. Recently got the iPhone 16 (upgraded from an iPhone 13), and just because it's new doesn't mean it's better. The call reception was so poor that I could literally not keep a call for longer than a few minutes without consistently breaking up and not being able to have a real conversation. Didn't want to spend a bunch on trial and error, so I opted for this booster at an affordable $100.Installation was pretty simple. Wish the cable was longer than 50'. 75' would have been great. You need to get the antenna about 10' higher than the base unit, and at least 20' away horizontally. It's not always easy to install cabling from outside to inside without having to go around things and losing cable length. I hope the people that made this are reading and can consider sending me an extension of at least 25' to extend the inside cable that connects to the base unit.Performance wise, this immediately put my phone at a full 4 bars of service and the cell signal values were far better than they were before the booster was turned on. For Verizon customers, dial *3001#12345#* and you will see your values. Key values are RSRP, SINR0 and SINR1. My RSRP value before the booster was -115db which is horrible and in the poor range of their signal scale. With the booster turned on, my RSRP value is -79 which anything under -89 is considered Excellent. My SINR values were also extremely poor but are in the good to excellent range now.Call quality is incredible and comparable to a land line phone from both what I hear and what the person at the other end of the line tell me.This product is a huge win and I highly recommend for those who live in cell signal challenged areas.Cheers.

According to the many recommendations on line by techies and the instructions for this model, it probably wouldn't work. However, I live on a hilltop in a very rural area in the mountains and a small cell tower was installed 7 miles away on another hilltop...1st ever. I had 3 bars outside away from the house and zero inside due to a thick metal 100 y/o roof. Because it was cheap, I took a chance and guessed that I could use the RF shielding to my advantage. Installed the outdoor antenna on a pole 5 ft above the roof line guessing that there would be little or no feedback with the indoor antenna installed at ceiling height inside just 10 ft from the outdoor antenna and behind the metal roof. Now 4/5 bars inside throughout the house. If you have a similar situation, this could work for you as well.

Making calls worked for a couple of minutes and then the conversation got garbled and I was not able to understand what was being said. I tried this multiple times with the same results. I requested technical support to call me to help solve the issue: but they never called.

When we went into our storm shelter (metal walls, metal floor and metal ceiling - basically a huge faraday cage) our phones went from 5 bars to 0 bars. Now we have 5 bars underground. We can watch the news to be sure the tornados have passed and if we ever get hit we'll be able to call for help if the door to our shelter is covered with heavy debris. We're so happy we bought this.

After reading the many positive reviews, I was hoping the product would work for me so I gave it a shot. I had the antenna mounted outside and hooked up the cables. Wow, I now get 3-4 bars with superior reception on every phonecall!! I do quite a lot of calling in my basement and cannot afford to have clients not hearing me or spotty reception. This was an inexpensive investment for the quality provided. Anyone who needs better reception should definitely consider this for their home.

I use T-Mobile Home Internet. I had speed issues b/c of metal siding. This booster solved that by giving me consistent 4 bars. My speed in actual use has tripled. Also, no one gets the buffering interstitial b/c 2 or 3 people are streaming different shows. Was easy to setup. Love it so far.

I work in a metal building and have zero phone signal. Installed this device and now have phone signal. Simply installed the antennae outside on the wall, ran the cable - installed the R/T on a wall inside the building, turned it on and it works. I can now make phone calls, receive text messages etc... without issue when it was impossible before.

Very disappointed. Confusing and complicated setup instructions and after trying 3 different setups, no change in cell reception at all. Returned.
