Was easy to install on our old slightly worn garage door, we did need to use some lube to help it glide but I think that was more because our track was older and slightly rusthy. It's been several months since we installed it. and it's upheld through the winter well and doesn't show any sign of wear. Seems to be a good quality. We did have some issues reprograming the garage door to stop as it add a lot more thickness to the bottom of the garage door. It was easy to trim to size, we used a box cutter and a scissors. I would recommend cutting it a little longer than needed as it did strink on the sides.

Very pleased. I must admit that the first 20 minutes or so was a bit frustrating, since I had to get the end of the seal to fit into a small "maze" of aluminum channel shape. I'm sure a lot of garage doors are like this. So I just persevered.By the way I love the "fatness" shape provided by the internal tube that runs inside this rubber seal to give it body and "spring." That's so that when you lower your door you get almost 2 inches of flex against the floor- works perfectly giving you a nice seal. And the ribs along the bottom edge are another plus.I had an assistant but could have done this alone if I had no choice.Used soapy water in a spray bottle (about 8:1 water to liquid dish soap). I used this instead of silicone spray (which I kept handy just in case I needed it) since the water/soap is so much easier and less messy, and won't get on my hands and on places I don't want it to be during or after installation which would be a mess to remove.I wore of headlamp so I could see EXACTLY what I was doing to get the seal started in the aluminum channel; it was a tight operation, and also very close to the end of the garage construction itself (so I had little wiggle room to stand in to try to see down the edge of that channel (Of course I put the garage door down to the perfect working level for me, and then used heavy duty spring clamps up on both rails to hold the door right there.Once it got started it was a breeze. Within another 15 minutes of pulling (no problem, simply just spray the soapy water on the seal and inside the channel, hold the rubber seal in a "pout" position so it conforms just right to fit into the channel on each of the two leading edges and pull 6" to a foot at a time, making sure to hold the trailing edge of the seal with your other hand as you "feed" it in and hold it straight.I used a big bucket to contain the rest of the 16 feet of rubber seal as I fed it in.(Don't forget to vacuum out your channel- make sure it's free of any dirt, etc. beforehand.)When I got to the end it was so satisfying. Made a great seal. What a terrific improvement this made to my old flat and worn out seal.Now whenever I open the small "person size" entry/exit door to the outside, if I pull it open fast, the entire 16-foot garage door "shudders" and you can hear a metal clang as it "sucks" the internal room air volume now that there are no gaps anymore. Terrific.

The product is exactly what it says it is, the measurement was exactly 20 feet, well made and seems like it will last a long time. The package arrived with detailed instructions that were very easy to follow. The rubber material seems very well made with nice thickness and very durable. When putting this on my garage door it seemed a little tight trying to get it the 2 slots but with a little silicone spray I was able to get it on in about 20 minutes. The rubber is very flexible and I think it is functional for the job. I would highly recommend this and it’s a great value.

Works great. A little difficult installing. It would have been easier if I had cleaned and lubricated the slots the garage door seal fits into before installing. Initial install left slight gaps on both ends of the garage door when closed. Center of garage door closed and sealed as expected. After a couple days the weight of the garage door compressed the seal and no light was visible under the door.

Shipped quickly, fit right, and was the right length. Make sure to clean the track it slides into as it will help when installing. Had to have a second set of hands during install to feed it in while I pulled it along but was fairly simple. Was thicker than the old one so had to slightly adjust the opener so it didn't kick back up when closing.

Works great. NOT an east install, but once you get it on it does the job.

Doesn’t work with my garage door bottom and more to the point, this looks like an item that someone else found didn’t work, unsuccessfully tried to modify, and then returned themselves as it has obviously been cut up along the T edges. Not worth my time driving the 20 miles to drop off to return…

I think this is a good product, however it is thicker rubber than my original and did not fit in my track so I could not install it. I waited too long to make an installation effort and my return window is past due so I have a product that I cannot use. Any other suggestions for a use would be appreciated, otherwise landfill.
