I had a weird problem with dizziness, and this book totally helped me define it and treat it with the Epley Maneuver. I have had a copy of the Merck Manual in the house for 20 years, and it has been indispensible in giving true, realistic, no-nonsense medical advice that the intelligent layman can understand.

A bunch of old folks in my family now so this helps us understand what the doctor is talking about. I've lived long enough to know electricity and internet may not always be there. Critical info should be on a shelf. You know what I mean...

This a excellent reference book for many of the ailments, infections, and diseases that afflict the human body, and it is written for the lay person.
