Item has strong chemical odor could not use also the item was very narrow and could case falls.

Our cat kept trying to get into a room and it would scratch underneath the door and destroyed the carpet. We placed the plastic mar under the door and between the 2 rooms.It kept our cat away and it also was easy to open and close the door over it.

Its good for the edge of the carpet. I was looking for one that is wider and covers the entire area that Im tryiing to protect.

Although this carpet protector is a nice idea, the functionality of the product is not ideal. First of all, it is rolled up when received and had obviously been rolled for so long the plastic has molded to that shape, hence my photo. It does not lay flat and has a large bubble underneath to where it slides around and does nothing to protect the floor (even though I have kept it rolled flat underneath my heavy rug all day to hopefully straighten it out, the teeth do not grab the carpet because it is so deformed). I highly suggest to the seller packing it flat to prevent this deformation. It is thick and durable if this issue was fixed. Another issue is the length of it- it is way longer than the width of a door frame and is narrow, so either way you place it under the door does not protect the entire entry of the door. I would also suggest making this the same size as a door mat as it is not feasible to trim down. The plastic makes this easy to clean and could definitely be successful to protect against scratching, but the prior issues mentioned make this product an 'okay' product rather than a great one! I would be disappointed if I paid money for this.

These will not lay flat...they will not uncurl. waste of money dollar store quality. returned

So far amazing, kitty isn’t scratching at it ever!!!I pray because cats are “destructive!!!”

Cut to fit area needed

I used this carpet protector upside down to cover the arms of my couch. It is a very small piece so measure first to know how much you need. It works well because my cats will stay off that area. Cats hate the pokey side! It can also be used pokey side down on carpet to cover and protect it. It does take about a week to get it to lay flat. It works as intended to keep the cats from destroying the arm of my couch.
