Man has a primal need to weld
Decided to make a go kart. Liberty karts, outstanding product. So I modified it to sit and suit me. Welding, I was as lost as last year's Easter Eggs. Fired it up on some test pieces. I Can Bond metal together! I am complete! The machine has been OUTSTANDING.Super simple to use. It doesn't have a feed speed, but it does just great! I've got welds that are strong and I'm not ashamed of. This thing will be going with me quite often.Best advice I've learned. $30 helmet (Amazon red/white/blue) does great. You can't get the metal clean enough. Get as much bright light on the subject as you can, it REALLY helps you see what you're doing once you arc. Keep a set of cutters nearby to trim the wire. I always start with 5/8" for some consistency. Before you pull the trigger, touch the wire to the work, back up 1/8", then pull the trigger.Don't judge yourself by using box store metal, you will 'blow a hole'.YouTube has videos for help. The best one I saw that helped with this type welder to set wire speed and amperage was by sound.*the loaded wire on my unit was wrong; it was coming over the top, not from the bottom. Made it harder to set tension* good luck

It’s small
I bought this welder because it was 125 bucks and I did not believe it would work, waste of money I thought , but I had to see! When it got here I put it up against a Lincoln weld pack100. I could not believe how good it did!! I’m not using the Lincoln anymore! Ps it’s not half the weight as the weld pack.

Review from a Beginner
***Update to my original review***: The seller messaged me on Amazon to notify me that they updated the user manual with more detail and directed me to a newly published instructional video on Youtube. I downloaded the new instruction manual and watched the video. It was night and day compared to what was originally provided. It had a lot more detail and was easy to follow. It would have been nice to have a more concise manual on day 1 because it would have saved me a lot of time with set-up and initial use, but I am glad the company is listening to customer feedback and making improvements where necessary. For that reason, I've increased my rating to four stars. The welding machine still works great and I was able to get my strike plate welded on my gate. Thank you, MigBloom, for following up with me and addressing my concerns.I ordered the MigBloom 200A so I could weld a strike plate on my front gate to change the directional opening swing. The thing that turned me on to this welding machine was the Syn feature, which per the item description, automatically adjusts the voltage and current based on the material type and thickness. This was a big selling point given I am new to welding and was looking for something easy to use. It was also advertised as a good welding machine for beginners like myself. When I got this welding machine I was completely lost in the set up process because the instructions were little to no help. After reading through the instructions it directed me to go to YouTube and search for an instructional video titled "MigBloom Mig-200". I did this and nothing came up. Also, there was a flyer insert (picture included) that requested the customer not return the machine, and instead to contact Migbloom in the event that you experience any issues. This is all fine, but there was a statement on the flyer that said "the return may cause the other customer get a second hand machine". I'm not sure what this means exactly, but I would hope that means a defective machine that has been returned would be resold as a refurbished item and not a new one. In any event, it was an odd statement on a "high standards and requirements" flyer insert.Fortunately, there were instructional videos for other brands that helped me understand how to get this welder set up for its first use. The welder comes with a universal wrench, a wire brush, and a couple extra nozzle tips. You will need to purchase the personal protective equipment and the other welding tools/supplies, depending on the type of welding you're doing. I used .030 flux core gasless mig wire and have been practicing for the last month or so, but I haven't got to a comfort level to weld the strike plate on my gate. The welding machine does work as advertised. It is easy to use for the most part, but there are definitely areas for improvement, starting with updating the instruction manual with some more clarity and detail. This is especially the case if you are marketing the welder as easy to use and perfect choice for beginners.

Works, is simple, but limited use case.
In terms of value, this is sort of a mixed bag. It will do what it advertises. I've only used it with 110v, but it'll decent depth welds up to around 11ga. or so. When I say "decent depth" I mean a weld I'd consider functional, but not consistent enough for highly critical applications. Quality-wise, it's sort of a toy...but that's what you'd expect for this level of value. it is quite small, which is nice, despite the short cables. In terms of ease of use, it's...a bit nuanced. The wire feed, or lack thereof, isn't ideal. The thing that makes it easy to use, sort of a fire-and-forget setting on the machine, doesn't lend itself to adjusting individual things like heat and feed speed individually. So, it's definitely trial and error to get the feel of it. Speaking of which, whoever designed the user manual needs to find another employer, it's terrible. Like "provides no usable information on device" terrible. I've set up similar welders (albeit better quality), so I could figure it out. But woe be the person who has this drop in their lap and never touched one before. I could speek to the varianble functions and all that, but other reviewers have done a decent enough job.It purports to do a lot of things, and does some of them passably with not enough fine adjustment to be really broadly functional. But the design is a nod to beginner users who ask for little from their welder in return for ease of use. To that end, it's successful.

Simplicity
I'm not a welder. I had never welded in my life before using this machine. It was simple to set up. And simple to use. I practiced on some scrap metal I had around the garage. After some trial and error I managed to get some solid welds . The instructions that came with the welder are sparse and the video they recommend is more promotional than instructional. I watched some videos on YouTube to learn the basics of flux core welding.

Very helpful and small
Really easy to use, wish the wire speed could be adjusted but its still very well worth it. Easy to weld thin metals
