I mounted this small, powerful 5-channel amp to the inside top/back of my 05' ES330's GLOVE BOX!
TL;DR - this is a fine little amp that makes an easy upgrade for the numerous old Lexus & Toyota cars with the factory amp behind the glove box - by installing this IN the glove box where I have quick access to the factory speaker wiring. Also, it's an easy place to route 12v power to the amp alongside the wire bundle headed to the ECU through the firewall. Even with the factory speakers still in place ("the best speaker upgrade is a new amp!"), the music sounds great!First impressions: The NVX NDA11005 has Plenty of power for discerning listeners. 'no static at all...' . I also like the solid connections and compact size of this amp!TMI - In my new car stereo installation, I had just upgraded the lexus factory amp to a Soundstream PN5.640D 5-channel driving the 4 OEM door speakers and subwoofer in the rear window deck. It stopped turning on after a week or so - we (their tech support and I) suspected the flimsy dongle/harness that combines the remote turn-on and the remote Bass Boost adjust dial - and I was having a hassle getting a prompt replacement, so I looked for alternatives of the same size and found this NVX NDA11005. It's smaller, more powerful, has cleaner audio specs and has MUCH better connections for remote amp turn-on and with PROPER RCA inputs; solid power, ground and sub connectors, etc. The Picasso's going back for a refund. After a 60 minute drive at freeway listening volume with the NVX NDA11005, the unit merely felt warm.So far, so good!Update: The amp is now driving the factory door speakers (all 4ohm Pioneers) and two subwoofers connected in parallel in the trunk: an 8" Infinity KAPPA 800W hanging 'free air' where the factory subwoofer was, and a sealed-boxed 10" Alphasonik doing the down-fire thump underneath it. Both are 4ohm SVC subwoofers rated for 400W RMS, and I'm hearing them improve with early usage! Amp's still running cool!

SOLID BUILD!
Received brand new amplifier, pristine packaging. Amp is pretty hefty if you're just holding it, pretty sure it does it's rated power. I'm not even going to question it. The reverse protection mode works, trust me, first thing I did was hook it up backwards and blow both 50 amp fuses. Didn't hurt it at all. Rookie mistake I know, but the wife just went and shut the hell up talking about something I gave no sh!t about. It gives off a 'back to the basics' old school theme and presence. Has all the adjustments you would ask out of a monoblock, potentiometers are nice and smooth and not touchy whatsoever. Overall I'm completely satisfied, and I'm only running it @ 2 ohms off a single Kicker 06L7S12 in a sealed enclosure that has become my center console in my 09 2500hd.. more than likely going to get 2x 10" 400 watt dual 4 ohm subs and run it @ 1ohm and see how it can only get better.. Honest review for a honest product.. I want the N series 1000 watt 4 channel AB, but it is a little pricey for a poor man.. maybe some day....Update! So I got another one these amps and now I have 2x Harmony audio carbon series 10's with dual 2ohm coils and all I can say is wow! It's amazing pushing 2000 watts RMS you can hear me a mile away, real talk. I haven't even gone full tilt yet because I'm already breaking stuff in my truck. If you're reading this review, just do it. These amps do rated clean power and in my opinion worth every dollar. So 2x nda103= $360, 2x Harmony Audio carbon 10's= $330, probably $150 in wiring/fuses, pioneer avh-200bt= $240, 2x skar 6.5 mids, 2x skar 2 way 4" speakers and I'm ready to go to a competition as a amateur in my 2009 2500hd 6.0l Silverado

Don’t let the price fool you .
This amp is a Polk audio company product . I have this amp powering 1 skar audios top model 12” competition sub with an rms of 3500k watts. I have this amp wired to 1 ohm and man does it deliver power . I’ve had kicker amps Rockford fosgate and alpine amps and for the price I’d take this amp any time over those . The bass is clear and hits hard and this amp doesn’t heat up much at all. There is no on board fuses but has a protection mode to protect your equipment. I give this amp a 10/10.Update: after breaking in my monolith sub for a couple weeks and the amplifier I had my sub wired to one ohm . The next day this amp couldn’t handle the load and almost damaged my entire set up however my mid range amp immediately went into protection and this amp stayed on even after my car was off had to disconnect the remote wire and it still stayed on. That tells me something was defective in this amp. Amazon is shipping me a new one . Hopefully it was just this amp. My installation company tested another brand amp on my set up and had no issues so it’s definitely the amp.I got a replacement amp same one and it’s working perfectly fine now and no obnoxious heat from the amp . I still have it at one ohm . I think the first amp I got had some underlying issues but was hassle free getting a replacement amp and I really like this amp and it’s a monster. My sub if fully broken in and I have this amp tuned perfectly and I upgraded to zero guage and added a capacitor. This amp is truly remarkable and sounds great

NVX NDA 12001
It’s too good to be true! Nice look and small with advertised good power which is the perfect solution for me. Got everything hooked up and tucked in nicely and the amplifier even came on first try but no sound. No matter how I tuned it, unplugged and replugged wires just in case of poor connection and nothing. Old amp works, just wanted more power. Such a shame because I heard NVX is nice stuff (I like to watch sound man ca on YouTube). I’m not the brightest crayon in the box but I know how to install an amp and this thing is just a brick.
