A little thinner than I had hoped. They do the trick though but next time, I'm going to have to find something that's a little thicker.

I purchased these bags both for mailing purposes and to protect my finished artwork from air and dust when in storage. After I made the order I noticed a question with an answer that mentioned holes in the bags for breathable storage of clothing. I did not see this in the description and was so worried I had purchased an item that was unsuitable for my purposes. HOWEVER, upon receipt of the bags I inspected them from the outside and these particular bags (6x9) do not have holes at all! My best guess is that either the design has changed since that customer's answer was posted, or that the comment was intended for the larger bags. Who knows.Anyways, these are a good thickness, and while I have not tested the adhesive to see whether or not it is permanent or reseal able that makes no difference to me, as I am placing pieces that are an inch or so smaller than the size of the bag. This means the top can easily be cut off without any harm done to my art. There is just a tiny bit of cling to the plastic, but I don't feel any static. I plan on protecting the enclosed art with two pieces of thick cardstock to help deter wrinkling and also for easier removal from the bag, so this is also not an issue for me. A few more details to add are that there is no weird smells (ie plastic or chemical), the outside packaging that holds all the bags arrived without damage, and the suffocation warning makes me feel confident that as long as the recipient is responsible no harm will come to any curious children or pets.To whomever actually reads my novella of a review, thanks 😁, andI do recommend these bags. 🙂
