These plastic mesh sheets have clearly defined holes, making them super easy to work on.The sizing is good so you can work on larger projects - they are easy to cut so you can make quite intricate designs and then either cut them out to make in to a 3D figure or use for ornaments, etc..The plastic is flexible which means you can actually form the finished piece (a little bit of heat will help get a smooth curve). You can also stitch them together along the edges for making boxes.Count appears to be around 10/11 stitches per inch so most designs will work on them. Great for bargello work in wool or simple cross stitch in standard floss - you can even add backstitch detailing.

This is quite thick plastic so wasn't suitable for my 10 year old as a hot gun needed to be used rather than a glue stick to stick these to her masks. Great for other projects I'm sure, but not delicate projects in my opinion. Bonus is the plastic accepted paint with no problem.

I cut this mesh into smaller sizes and give it to the kids to do cross stitch. The holes are just large enough for them to use safe plastic, easy thread, needles. The finished projects look nice on the wall, used as coasters or even attached to bags. Keeps the kids happy, helps encourage their creativity without being too taxing. Happy to recommend them.
