Really good quality. Great gift for animal lovers
Really cool fun idea for a present for any kid who loves animals like my nephew. The binoculars are really good quality too I was surprised how much zoom they had. Even thought about getting a pair for myself. Highly recommend

Faulty
Came faulty, didn't realise until now. Just comes on and goes off on its own without any sound or any other buttons working. I'm so disappointed and can't return it because my kids already discarded the packaging and everything else. However, what I noticed was mine came with a battery in it. Is that normal or i was sent an already identified faulty product?

Very happy grandson
I bought these for my three year old grandson, he will be able to use these for a few years. He was delighted with them.My daughter loved the night time feature and that there are fun but also educational.

An expensive toy and a great learning tool. But maybe better as separate toys.
There’s no denying that this has an eye-watering price tag so I expected it to have a lot of functionality and durability. The binoculars are well built and look great. The lenses are glass, but they are well protected by a thick, rubbery eye guard. The whole thing is made of rigid plastic.Unfortunately, it does scratch easily and the white plastic is somewhat prone to staining. My kids already got some grass stains on it that have left a green smudge behind. It didn’t fully wipe off with isopropyl alcohol, and I’m not willing to use anything more aggressive on such an expensive toy.The controls are quite intuitive to use and the buttons are rubbery and easy to press. Older children would have an easier time understanding and using the features, so I think the targeted age range of 5+ years includes adults helping the child to use the toy.As far as using them as binoculars, I think they are quite heavy for children. The question I have to ask myself is if it is worth the price. You are essentially getting a kids friendly pair of binoculars with night vision, a mini digital archive of biology facts and a camera wrapped into one.Personally, I don’t think it’s a good idea to have some many things stuffed into one toy.Other than the novelty of the product, I think my children actually preferred the old-fashioned version of a physical book of UK wildlife and a pair of standard binoculars. At the very least, it doesn’t give me a panic attack when I see them handling these cheaper, low-tech toys roughly. This toy is explicitly for outdoor use, but I don’t think it’s as rugged as it needs to be for children, especially younger ones. Perhaps I’m too hung up on the price tag.
