works out of box with mac and PC
Here's some of the answers to questions I'd wish I'd known when purchasing it:- first, the brand name is not present anywhere on the product, so you don't need to worry about misinterpretations if using it processionally- on my M2 macbook air it works out of the box in two modes: both screens joined together as one big screen (useful, but refresh rate of 30hz), or both screens duplicating each other (not as useful, but refresh rate 60hz). Both these modes work via connection with only one USB-C cable.- on my PC (ROG Ally) it works out of the box in two modes: both screens joined together as one big screen (refresh rate 30hz), or each screen functioning as an independent screen (this is the best use case, and refresh rate was 60hz). Both these modes work via connection with only one USB-C cable.- pass through charging works! - plugged in a 100w charger to the middle USB-C port and it charged my Mac or PC via the bottom USB-C port at 60w (which was also the video data port)- It works connected via a single cable to my Macbook air M2 even without either device connected to a charger (power draw is somewhere between 5-10w).- No flickering in either scenario noted, but I did not max out the brightness when not attached to a power source (which usually causes my other portable screens to flicker). That's it for now, will update as I use it further.

Good customer service, decent product.
Had an defect with the monitor after the first month but was able to get it replaced from the warranty, great customer service. Other than that connecting it to my laptop or computer was pretty straightforward and everything works as expected.

Way better then I expected
Very bright and crisp display. does everything I could expect and at a great price. only small note for the manufacturer: would be nice if the magnet was also along the side so the stand could be used in portrait mode. also odd that the top USB-C port supports 1440p but the bottom only supports 1080p. you may get some lower then deserved reviews if the user doesn't realize this

Does not work at all
Had this for a while and tried multiple laptops, desktops, and OS's and it doesn't work on anything. Biggest waste of money yet, don't buy it

Good for the money, love the 3:2. With a few minor issues keeping it from being 5 stars
I’m using this in a retro computer project, and needed a 3:2 radio in the 13-14 inch range. This seemed like the best option out there. Here’s what I’ve found….First, I’ll give you the short answer:It’s really good for the price, and I’m really happy with it over all.Now let me start by saying that this is defiantly a GLOSSY display, NOT MATTE like it’s stated in the listing. For me, glossy works out really well. However, if you’re using this by a bight light or window, it may not work for you at all. I generally prefer matte displays, and would not have been thrilled to get a glossy display, had glossy not worked out better for the project I’m using this in. That being said, glossy displays generally make the colors a little richer, and the blacks a deep (more on that later).I’m going to do this in a Pros and Cons format, so you can decide what’s important to you.Pros:Deep blacksThe black levels are excellent. I was most impressed by how deep the blacks are. This helps if you want to use the HDR options, but overall it allows them to [likely] achieve the stated quoted contrast ratio. The blacks on this are better than my 32 inch monitor, though my 32 inch monitor has a matte finish, and is rated for P3 colors, so that’s better overall.BrightnessThe brightness has to be more than the started 330nits, at least in the unit I received. There’s an identical monitor from another brand that’s rated at 400nits. So, based on comparing it to my 500nit MacBook Pro, I would say it’s easily in the 400-450nit range. I’ll have to dig out my colorimeter to really know. The tightness may vary, so you may not get a brighter display like mine, I’m just not sure. There are issues with the color saturation, but I’ll save that for the cons sectionColor balanceThe out of the box calibration is really good. The white balance is near perfect, better than most non-pro displays. The type of computer or device you’re using this monitor with can affect colors, but connected to a Mac, or Raspberry Pi 5 running Ubuntu Linux, the color / white balance is excellent.3:2This is such a great ratio. A 14 inch 3:2 feels bigger than a 15” 16:9, and gives you a better experience for just about everything, except streaming wide screen videos. The 3:2 is ideal for documents and web browsing, as well as older games and older TV shows.WeightThis thing is so light that I feel like I could break it with 2 fingers (nat in a bad way). It’s significantly lighter than my 17” portable display from 2018. It looks like a giant tablet, but feels lighter than my phone.Included stand / folio caseI wouldn’t pay more than $10-15 for a case / stand / folio like the one that’s included, but the fact that it’s free, and matches up perfectly to the magnets in the monitor is very welcomed. It’s a really nice bonus that they include this. My 2018 17 inch portable display didn’t come with a case, it just came with a really terrible wire stand, and wasn’t VESA compatible. So, having an included stand / case wuth this monitor is a major benefit.Raspberry PiThis work perfectly with the Raspberry Pi 5. I needed to buy a HDMI Micro to Mini cable (more on that later), but works right out of the box, with no issues. The Pi 5 does not work with my 2018 17 inch portable display, at all.Cons:Color saturationHot spotsMy biggest issue with this display is the dull color levels. While the colors are accurate, they are not saturated at all. This would be fine for working with documents, and Iit appears they do come close or achieve the rated sRGB spec, but it’s definitely not achieving in the color space. If you need vivid colors, this will be a deal breaker. I’m ok with it, but I defiernly would prefer better.Menu buttonsThey sucks, but so do all monitor and TV buttons these days. I wish the power button was further from the rest of the buttons. I often turn the display off while trying to navigate the system. However, it’s not a dealbreaker at all. There is another review here that says the menus are buggy. I wasn’t have this issue, so they may have fixed it.Simple / basic adjustmentsThe color and other adjustments are barebones, and very few presets. I would prefer more detailed colors of the color (like adjusting lower light color balance and miss and highs differently).VESAIt’s not a Hugh deal, but it would be nice if they could have added some kind of support for VESA stands. Maybe a magnetic adaptor or something. Even if it rises the price up $5, I would have been happy to have a way to use a VESA stand, if I neededMini HDMIThis isn’t really an issue with this specific monitor, but an issue with all portable monitors. This monitor uses HDMI-C (Mini HDMI). I know they’re trying to reduce size, so I don’t fault them on that, I just want to mention how annoying Mini HDMI is. I’d much rather have them made the bot potion a little ticket, so they could include a full size HDMI. Again, just about every portable monitor has a mini HDMI, so I can’t blame this specific monitor for this, but I’d still prefer full size HDMI.May or may not be a Pro or Con:GlossIf you really can’t do a gloss, you don’t want this. If gloss doesn’t bother you, then the glossiness will help make the blacks deeper.Ubuntu on the Pi5 is only reading the native resolution (this will likely not affect most people, but I want to outline this issue. The biggest issue I had with this is related to the Raspberry Pi5 and/or Ubuntu Linux. I’m not sure if it’s the Pi’s build in display support, or if it’s an issue with Ubuntu and/or Linux (I think it’s Linux). When I connect the display, the only 3:2 resolution that this supports is the maximum native 2160x1440, which makes evertifgn too small for me to see on the dimply. Ubuntu supports a 200% zoom, but that made everyihng too large to easily work. Ubuntu / Gnome supports fractional scaling ,but the Pi5 isn’t powerful enough to use factional scaling, and even 2160x1400 slowed the Pi5 down. I had to do some serious terminal commands and scripting to get a more even resolution of 1296x864 (60% of the native resolution).’On a Mac, there’s a whole list of 3:2 rations options, including a 1280x854 that’s really coos to the 1296x864 I decided to go with.I’m not sure what Windows supports, it may vary by your hardware, but I would image there will be more than the 2160x1440.Finally, I just want to mention how terrible the name of this brand is. I get that they’re going with portable + monitor, but is has a not-safe-for-work word within the name (I’ll let you work it out for yourself). They obviously didn’t check with a native English speaker on this. I could see this being an issue if you want to have your company buy it for you, or put it on your expense report.

Love this!
Have turned several of my friends that also travel for work onto this. Love that it folds flat & takes less space than my laptop but gives me full dual monitor capability while on the road.

CALIDAD Y GARANTIA
