Ernie BallNot Even Slinky Coated Titanium RPS Electric Guitar Strings - 12-56 Gauge

I bought these to put on a 335. They sound great, the coating doesn't seem to make any significant difference in tone from the uncoated set I had on the guitar before. They've been on the guitar for a couple of weeks and I wipe the strings down after every use like I normally would, and these still sound as good as they did when I first put them on. I suspect these will outlast uncoated strings by a notable margin.

I've been using Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky's for a good number of years now, but I won't talk about the strings in terms of gauge here as I assume you'll have already some experience with what strings you like before looking at these.This particular line of strings claim to decrease string breakage, hold tuning and resist wear more than a regular set, and it's safe to say this is exactly what they do.After 3 months of daily playing I'm about due a new set, which as far as longevity goes is fantastic. I have these strings set up on a MIM Fender Telecaster Deluxe 72 reissue complete with a graph-tec nut and string-saver saddles, so I can't put it all down to the strings as to why I've not broken any (in all honesty I rarely break a string and if you've not got a well cut and lubed nut all the will in the world won't keep you in tune), but these strings will take an absolute hammering and maintain their freshness and tone twice as long as a regular set. I can play for a good 30-60 minutes without having to adjust my tuning, which I put down to a combo of the strings and the graph-tec nut. As with any set of strings, washing your hands prior to playing will prolong the life of these strings considerably.All in all, definitely worth the extra cash since you'll be changing sets far less often, but don't go expecting miracles. It's still just wound metal at the end of the day!

Lovely strings

This was my first set of the coated strings. I've had them for months and the still feel and sound new. Super durable. The hybrid pack is great and stays in tune. Great value for the money. Easy to play many different types of music.

He probado algunos sets de esta marca, como los regulares y cobalto, sin embargo considero que estas cuerdas poseen lo mejor de los sets que mencioné. No son rígidas, ni se sienten duras al tocar comp algunos piensan, su sonido es bastante brillante y tienen el característico twang de esta marca y lo más importante duran muchísimo yo tengo 1 año con estas cuerdas instaladas en mi guitarra y no se han opacado, ni oxidado como pasa con las normales y si le doy un uso algo rudo. Sin embargo cabe mencionar que en general el brillo y durabilidad de las cuerdas depende mucho del cuidado, limpieza y uso que les des. Las recomiendo si buscas la durabilidad pero sin perder el brillo y sonido que ofrece esta marca.

Produzem excelente som, porém duas das cordas vieram oxidadas. Acreditei que não valia a pena o esforço com o suporte devido a isso e resolvi utilizar o produto normalmente. Após pouco tempo (+/- 1 semana) de uso, a corda 011 arrebentou, muito provavelmente por ser uma das cordas com oxidação.

Pros: Lasts a long time without going dead. Really slick finish.Cons: None!I'm a D'Addario player, and these honest to god feel better than NYXLs.
