I’m a fan!! Are they making one for the switch 2?
The Nitro Deck completely transforms the handheld experience. This is what the Switch is supposed to feel like—solid, ergonomic, and built for serious gaming. No more hand cramps or flimsy Joy-Cons. The buttons feel great, the sticks are smooth and responsive, and the overall build quality is top-notch. It’s like holding a pro controller with a screen in the middle. If you play handheld even a little, this is a must-have upgrade.

Great addition!
I looked at a few different options for my OLED switch and ultimately decided on this beauty. I don’t find the controller cumbersome and I have relatively small hands. The button placement isn’t the greatest but I still prefer using this to the joycons. I definitely would buy this again, it’s made playing my switch fun again!

Best “joycons” I’ve used!
Makes the switch feel way more solid! Over best “joycons” I’ve used. Love the back buttons. Ergonomics are pretty decent while keeping it fairly slim. A huge improvement from the Nintendo ones, I’d say comparable to Hori ones but way more of a solid and higher quality feel plus you get extra back buttons. If the joysticks were a bit better it would be a 5/5 star.

10/10
This is one of the best accessories you can get for your switch. Its weight and design are just like the steam deck so if you're a fan of that then this is the grip to get.

Great Concept, Poor Execution
I had high hopes for the CRKD Nitro Deck Plus, but unfortunately, it’s a disappointment.First, the positives: the buttons feel fine, and the build quality is decent, though it leans a bit cheap for the price point. The weight is notable—heavy enough to notice but still manageable. Now for the negatives. The logo light is incredibly annoying, as it turns on every time the system wakes up and must be manually turned off. It’s a small but persistent frustration. The deal breaker, however, is the placement of the right joystick and ABXY buttons. The layout forces your hand into unnatural and uncomfortable positions to use the face buttons. It’s so bad that you’re almost compelled to rely on the additional buttons, not because you want to, but because the default layout is borderline unusable. This is a fundamental design flaw, and no amount of decent build quality or extra features can compensate for it. I really wanted to like this device, but the poor ergonomics make it impossible to recommend. Save your money.

Makes switch better
Nitro deck makes the switch more comfortable to play. I haven’t used the joy cons since buying this product.

Almost Great
This thing is almost the best possible option for a handheld controller on the switch, but the ergonomics seriously hold it back. The positioning of the D-Pad and face buttons feels poorly thought out. You will have to change your grip to comfortably use the face buttons. I could see this being better than the original Joycons for people with exceptionally large hands, but even then there are better options. It seems as though this was designed with the intention that you will use the back buttons primarily - which is probably great for some people, but not for me.Others have reported that the unit will scratch the back of your switch, that it drains your battery excessively, and that the rumble is insanely loud. I didn't experience these issues first hand, although I thought they were worth mentioning. The good is that it does offer a 'premium' feeling experience. Making the Joycons and switch feel like one solid unit is a huge plus. It also repositions the charging port to be further up on the back of the unit, which is a godsend if your frequently play handheld with the switch plugged in - you no longer have to worry about resting the console on the charging cord. Making this functionally a handheld/portable dock that can travel as one unit with the switch is a great idea as well.Ultimately I love concept of this device, and I would love to see something like this succeed. I think that with some refinement CRKD could have a real winner - if not on the Switch then on its successor. I would love to see improvements as far as ergonomics, and an onboard battery to offset the switch's abysmal stock battery life. At this time, though, there are other Joycon alternatives that offer a better user experience.

Works great!
Something I never liked about the switch were those awful little controls and how thin it is all together. This thing goes such a long way in giving me something comfortable to hold on to. The triggers feel really nice, the buttons feel good, there's a conveniently placed port on the back for charging that wont get in the way, etc... I highly recommend this for a better handheld experience for the switch.
