I'm an older guy and things that didn't used to bother me are... now starting to. That said, my wrist was starting to get aggravated when using a standard flat mouse pad. As I'd had (and somehow lost) one of the pads with a "wrist rest", I first tried one of those -- but it no longer felt right and still aggravated my wrist. Then I found this one. Absolutely comfortable. For some reason, other pads of this type are double (or thereabouts...) the price of this one -- and I have no clue why! This pad is well made, same basic size and shape and cheaper (at least the black one is well priced). Anyway - it's a nice, comfortable pad that you're very likely to be happy with.

This mouse pad is absolutely comfortable. My wrist does not hurt all day. It is a bit larger than the average mouse pad, but it so worth it. So comfortable on your wrist & hand, sometimes forget your using a mouse pad. Excellent quality product.

If you need a lot of extra movement for gaming, this might be an issue, but if you use it without moving the mouse too much, this is great. It is really comfortable.

Very comfortable

With my previous mouse pad set up, I was having redness/soreness where my palm meets my wrist. This works as described & has eliminated it. It is comfortable (not awkward as I had feared) and has helped so much.
