Maped Metal Open Compass - 9 Pcs Set - (Colors May Vary)

It's good quality geometry box, value for money...but size wise it's a little bit issue for me because I am not putting my fine liners pens... extra befit compass & divider... other wise okay product... right now I don't about performance .....

It's a nice geometry box, the plastic case may be a pro or con varying the way you view it. Pro: makes less noise than metal ones. Con: is a lil less sturdy. But it does it's job very well. You can buy it.

My daughter is in grade 4 and is getting introduced to geometry, so this is her first geometry box.As evident in the picture this is the safest option available with an cover for sharp points. Her teacher loved it. Some kids in her class got hurt due to the sharp points. So this is definitely more secure.Cons: doesn’t look sturdy as the amount of plastic used is higher.Overall I think this is a good box to have for younger kids. Older children can safely use the regular ones.

If you are planning to buy this, keep in mind:This is EXTREMELY fragile, like really fragile! This thing is not made for school! The compass and the divider broke within a year! The reason? The metal tip in this is not in 1 piece and is exposed! Its just held by a circular shape! After a few days of using this the metal tip will fall of eventually! And the sad thing is that even after putting it back in place it starts to wobble around, making it 0% accurate! Talking about the box, it could not even survive 1 drop because it's made out of low quality plastic to save money! No protection to the things inside. What about the scale, the set square and the protractor? Same, they made of very low quality plastic! They even get scratched when used on paper! The plastic in the inside designed to save the tools from scratching and breaking, scratched them even more, these tools have for some reason a tip-like thing on the edges of the protractor, which breaks off just in 1 fall!Accuracy is just 'garbage' in this, sorry to tell but maped, you have dont a hilarious job on making this geometry kit! I was using the classmate 'Asteroid' for the past six years and it still looks in a very good condition when I compare it with this! Just the thing it looks better when it was new. I have switched back to a new asteroid after throwing this in the trash! Nothing is usefull in this it!

It's good but compared to the market destroyer Geometry box Aesteroid something like that, it is not that good in practical but it's good for looks
