Mastering Autodesk Fusion Edt.2 (2024-2025): 27 Step-By-Step Projects for Beginners in 3D Printing, Prototyping, and Making

I've been enjoying this guide as I work through each chapter. The authors start to take the training wheels off little by little as you go. They skip details that you should've learned throughout the beginning chapters which helps focus on the project at hand and means you don't have to re-read the same thing chapter after chapter. I like the holistic approach to a lot of it; taking a project from idea to built to print. If you're new to Fusion and 3D design, this is a great starting point. They also have lots of support via their Discord server.

After going thru the first chapter I am much more comfortable in using Fusion to design things I want and need around the house and to model items for model railroading. The lesson examples are interesting, the programmed use of Fusion features flows well, the instructions are complete. When unexpected results occurred, the problem was me not accurately reading the instruction and comments. The diagrams are complete but at times dim. Bright lights helps see the fine lines in the diagrams.I recommend this book to anyone that wants to become comfortable designing in Fusion.

I cannot overstate how valuable this book has been for me. I've been modeling in Fusion360 for 3 years before purchase of the book and every chapter provides valuable information. The layout of the instructions are very easy to follow and much more intuitive than watching videos online. Worth every penny.

I purchased the first version of this book and found it to be a great teaching resource. The authors are very knowledable and teach in a way that inspires learning . Version 2, which I also bought, built on feedback from users. Pictures are much clearer and projects were refined to enhance the learning experience. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn CAD with Fusion.

This book is super great for learning Autodesk Fusion. Not only are the projects fun and unique, but the discord community is a great resource for when you get stuck on projects. The authors are active and willing to help or give advice when you ask!

This book is written by people who most likely know the subject inside and out. Unfortunately none of them seem to be teachers. I went around and around with IronCad about this for 5 years until I got a phone call from my local re-seller with the news that my advice had been heeded and came to the conclusion that I had been right all along and hired an editor to clear up the problems. I realize how expensive something is, costing several hundred dollars per page so quitea few details get left out as a way to cut costs.

I used the original version of this book and really enjoyed it.I had to get the new updated version.What I learned from this book and the online training course I have used to build an Etsy business selling my designs.You can learn to make anything.
