Never thought I could buy a log splitter off of Amazon! That said it came in 4 boxes 1 box was a bit beat up but didn't affect anything. The instructions were Clear and easy, My son and I assembled it in just under 1 1/2 hours. All the tools needed to assemble it were included in the packaging however I recommend your own tools for easier faster assembly I used my own. The bearings for the wheels didn't have enough bearing grease for my liking so I added and replaced the bearings however you can install them right out of package if ur not picky like me. it also came with Hydraulic fluid and engine oil. Which I didn't know. So No need to buy any to use just the Gas to run it.After it was assembled, it started right up 1st pull. I split a cord of wood with it right away that was seasoned, I also had a tree come down during Hurricane Helene, i cut it up and it split the red oak with ease, I couldn't find anything it wouldn't split I put a 22inch wide X 18inch thru it and it barely hesitated, Red Oak is very stringy wood but it did so without issue, the only thing I noticed about the Ram was it doesnt go all the way out to almost contact the back plate, I had to put a piece of 4X4 to split all the way thru the difficult stuff. For a 25ton ram. It did amazing; the noise level isn't too bad, and it's actually really easy to pull around by hand and light enough if u don't want to constantly hook it up to move it. It's pretty compact and doesn't take a lot of room to store, I had a choice between this one of a 7 Ton for about the same money, this was only a few hundred more but well worth it considering you can tow it unlike the others I looked at.If your looking for a great Log splitter this is it!! Really easy to put together and use. Have split multiple very large diameter trees. Still going strong.

So far so good. Just got it today, got it put together and split a few big pieces and it had no problem. 25 ton

Advise that you not ask questions about the dimensions of the splitter fully assembled. I asked good old rufus and it gave me the only dimensions listed in the product information : 42.9x 19.7x 13. I then asked the seller directly and they said those measurements represent the size of the shipping boxes. Wrong again since the splitter is sent in four separate and different sized boxes. One of the boxes is that size. The seller continued, and said : The actual dimensions of the splitter when fully assembled are approximately:Length: 72 inchesWidth: 25 inchesHeight: 33 inches.Wrong again, however 72" is close to the length, but the other two aren't even close. Oh, BTW, I just finished assembling the splitter. It is stout, and looks like it will do the job.

Item is easy to assemble. Clear instructions. Once together it started on the second pull. It is a solid machine, not flimsy material and works very well. There were delivery hiccups, but that is not on the seller or the product.

Obsessed with this log splitter. Putting it together was easy, although UPS man was probably pretty mad at us. But we love love love this log splitter. We have enough wood to last for 2 weeks after spending 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours using this

I love this electric log splitter ! It works on even hard Locust wood and black oak just fine at first ! Then nothing but trouble . I bought my FIEST Bilt Hard splitter a year ago .....It worked good until the nuts on the guide rods pushed through the end plate and bent the ram ! They were most helpful and replaced it with a new splitter at the end of winter 2024 . The new one worked fine for a while then quit working , now in 2025 it fails to split the smallest of soft wood ! So the told me to take it to a repair shop . The hyrdrolic repair shop said it would cost more to fix than it is worth . So now Bilt Hard claims my warranty has expired the 90 day limit . So now I have to eat the cost of the splitter ! I Learned a lesson on electric splitters ....... first... 6 tons is way to small for hardwoods , so my next splitter will be at least 10 tons . SO BE WARNED PEOPLE ...WATCH OUT FOR BILT HARD ! They don't always stand behind their product !
