The RAM is functioning perfectly. The packaging is average, and there is a risk of damaging the RAM in that package. Overall, my experience was very good. I purchased it for my old Lenovo G40 laptop for slot 2.

Best DDR3 PC3L 1600 MHZ RAM
I bought 2 8GB =16 GB sticks for my old HP laptop bought in 2014. I was sceptical initially whether this DDR3 RAM would be compatible or not but eventually bought them. Alongside I had also thought of changing HDD to SSD. All this was to give a new life to my old laptop who had been along my side for so many years. My laptop was originally shipped with 4 GB RAM.I have now removed the 4 GB stick and installed the 2 8GB memory modules. BIOS recognized it and laptop is alive with new zeal like a new born baby with 16 GB memory.System is working really fast now. Booting timing has decreased considerably. I may drop the plan of changing HDD to SSD as this RAM has already done the trick of making my laptop super fast.And last but not the least this is one of the cheapest of prices for 16 GB DDR3 memory which is only Rs 1030.I would recommend these memory modules to everyone.Just check your system specs, check compatibility and go for it.Thanks to the manufacturer, seller and Amazon.
