I'm not super tech savvy, so I don’t need a super computer. This is exactly what I needed.Do your research.. make sure you are not looking for over what this can provide.consult a computer friend.. ask questions.. and if you just need to surf the web, run Excel, read email... buy this one..!

Worked perfectly right out of the box.
A near exact match of my home office PC. Intend to upgrade each to exact same specifications except this particular unit will be configured with a RW BlueRay/DVD/CD instead of RW DVD/CD as existing PC.

HDD Failure
Initially loved the computer for light home misc use but after storing some things the drive crashed. Computer has actually been down for over a year and just got around to installing W10 on a boot and another HDD. Finally back up and running.

Parts needed.
Key board did not work. WiFi adapter was a problem finding it it was loose in the box, could not set up , no key board. So I ordered new keyboard.and WiFi Adapter did not know if WiFi Adapter works. Will give comment as to how the desk top is when running. But looked into case and looks like there is emptie port.

This hp is great.
The computer arrived quickly. The box was filled with what I assume is anti static packing peanuts. It was well protected. This hp is great. I'm surprised at how quiet it is. Tekrefurbs included a Wi-Fi N USB nano adapter & a display port to DVI video cable. The keyboard they've included is genuine hp & it looks and feels brand new. The mouse is from dell and looks new too. There is minor cosmetic wear on the bezel, but nothing that bad. A few tiny scratches. Pretty good shape for a refurb if you ask me. The inside was a bit dusty. There was even some dust on the lens of the DVD writer drive. At first, it was only reading CD-ROM and not DVD. It looks like it's working now. I'm pleased with this buy. Take it from someone who had to send 2 defective computers back to amazon, this is a great computer.

Worst Computer I've ever seen.
Nothing but problems and an unrecoverable hard drive crash. PC lasted less than 6 months before it went to the scrap yard.
