This came in a small cardboard box! Nothing like the picture! Makes it seems very cheap. I'm not happy at all with thos purchase! Granted it wasn't super expensive but it should still be the way the picture shows! False advertisement!!

I got this for my daughter because she wants to teach herself how to do magic tricks, and she loves it. Some of the props are a little cheap, but it's perfect for a beginner so she can practice.

It looks tiny and nothing like the picture.

Some basics. With cheap materials and zero organization.Could have been 4 stars, but the manual is tiny and a little sparse. Bigger text, photos, and more photos and instruction, with better organization and this could have been pushed to a low 4*.If you aren't sure someone wants a magic kit... you could try this.Either they are interested enough to later get a bigger, better kit.... or this box is poor enough to disinterest them or you've found they just don't like it.Either way. Cheap starter kit.8yo messes with a truck or two one week, then forgets where the box is in the closet. Pulls it out a couple weeks later for a trick. So it does get sporadic use.

I am a Magician hobbyist. I have not performed on stage, but I do love showing off to family and friends. I have been randomly purchasing tricks for 40 years. This kit resembles the first box sets that I saw back in the 70s and 80s.First off. This is a cheap set and you are getting what you pay for. Quality Magic tricks and effects can be anywhere from pricey, to very expensive, and that is just for one single trick. This box has quite a few effects and tricks and an instruction book for the basics and some variations of the same trick.That being said, this is good for a kid, or beginner to get the basic concepts for some good tricks. I tried most of the tricks and they are good enough to fool my grandkids. For being cheap plastic, the parts do fit together and operate to complete the trick without giving away the secret. some of the tricks are self-working, so are very easy to learn. Others will take a bit of practice.This set is half the price of a single basic magic trick in a shop, and I actually learned 3 new tricks from it, so for me, at this price, is worth 4 stars for the number of tricks in the box.
