Does the job
I’ve been looking for a book stopper and this seemed to fit in my price range. It’s heavy. So it holds books well and does as promised. But sometimes when there are too many books, it tends to fall. So you have to slant the books and adjust it such that the weight doesn’t entirely fall on this stopper. Looks super elegant though.

The media could not be loaded. This product serves the need it is supposed to. I just got it today and feel satisfied with the feel, look and sturdinessIf you see the video there are some thick books and diaries placed and the product is able to hold the books together.The bottom grip of the product keeps it intact. I hope I'm not overlooking any problem. However, if I find any problem later I'll update my comments.
