Charging my batteries is incredibly convenient now; being aware of the percentage remaining is a game changer, and I no longer need to estimate with the standard Canon charger. Additionally, the charging speed is quite remarkable. It's an excellent device to have handy for weddings, video shoots, or simply as an extra phone charger. I genuinely love it.

I originally ordered this gadget with the the integral powerbank but returned it because it so big and heavy. I preferred taking a separate powerbank option. It works well, charges batteries quickly from the mains or on location with a powerbank and the LCD readout is good. Worth the money

Quick and versatile charger

One of the downsides of digital cameras is that they do have limited batter capacity and you really do need to carry spares. The standard charger supplied with a camera will only charge a single battery at a time and requires a mains lead to work. This offers an alternative solution and an alternative supply when charging.The charger arrives with a carry bag, USB-C lead and wrist strap. I've put the strap away as I just put the charger in my camera bag. Sometimes you do wonder why some accessories are included. Operation is pretty straightforward, you drop the batteries into the charger and close the lid. You get an immediate indication of charge status and as soon as you connect the USB-C to power, the charging process kicks off. The charge speed seems OK, I didn't sit with a stopwatch checking, but 2 batteries were back at 100% in a couple of hours.What I did like was the fact I can plug this into a power bank and charge batteries on the go; yes you need a pretty decent power bank to get up to the full power capacity of this, but being able to charge while you're away from mains power is such a bonus.There are a couple of things I could do without, first the accessories that just got put in a cupboard. Most of these will sit in a camera bag, you don't need the wrist strap. The other is the SD card slot, the LP-E6 battery is used in many Canon Cameras but quite few of these use CF storage rather than SD. The other thing to remember is most photographers will store their SD cards in a dedicated carrying case, I certainly do so I can't see the point of the SD card slot in this device.All in all though, a good bit of kit that gives you a great option for keeping batteries charged on the go.

Looked at one of these & looked good and don’t get me wrong it is very good for my canon.However, as mentioned these are not cheap and would have expected all connections to be there, so there is usb-c to usb-c .So I wanted to charge it from the wall plug so it meant me buying a usb-c plug & although not big money it was just more money and of course you can buy duel chargers cheaper.You can of course charge from a power bank or your car IF you have those connections.In short if you order one buy a usb-c plug as well.Hope this helps

Great charger. Got a 45watt usb c charger and works great. Recharges both original Canon and OEM batteries. Well worth the money.
