power loses over night it wakes me to call power company.

Doesn’t need an outside battery for it to function properly. It has a built in rechargeable battery. It works great and you can adjust the volume and the alarm sound.

This power failure alarm does the job, but it has a few drawbacks. The alert sounds aren’t very loud, which could be an issue if you’re not close to it or have a loud TV or music playing. Additionally, the selection of sounds feels a bit odd and not very practical for something meant to grab attention. That said, it’s still helpful for monitoring power outages and does work as advertised. Overall, it’s a good product but could use some improvements.

I was looking for some type of alarm to warn me if the power goes out at my house, especially while I'm sleeping to alert me to possibly hook up my generator to keep the refrigerator running. I am impressed by this little unit. I especially appreciate its ability to have you choose between several alarm sounds as well as adjust the volume of the alarm. I recently tripped the circuit breaker to a sub-panel that powers two rooms as well as my AC unit, and the power failure alarm went off as expected with the sound I programmed and at the volume level I selected.

I am on oxygen and one night the power went off and I was in a deep sleep and was without my oxygen. My cat woke me up in time to get to my portable tank. My level had dropped to 51. Now I have this to warn me when the power goes off. Thank you.
