Blagdon Pond Water Oxygenator Kit, 4 Outlet Aeration Air Pump for Medium Ponds up to 4000 litres,Black

This is a perfect aerator for a medium sized wild life pond, gently adding air bubbles from four air hoses & keeping the water moving. It is very quiet. The only issue was the colour of the air hoses- bright green- so I am changing these to transparent so the air lines will be invisible in the pond. A wild life pond doesn’t need a filter, but the addition of oxygen bubbles greatly enhances water quality & helps the plants, tadpoles & newts. The bubbles also look very attractive in the water.

I have had this running for a few weeks now to put more air in to the pond. It is powerful enough with good air flow out through the stones. It runs very quietly, I don’t even know it’s on. It appears to be waterproof as it is sitting at the side of the pond amongst the plants and is still working after the rain we had recently

I recommend the product but the airlines are very visible and no suggestions how to disguise them. I will look at doing this in the future but very happy with the product.

Quiet, powerful , easy to set up , plenty of piping

This Oxygenator is a godsend until the maintenance guy can get here both my pump and filter have stopped working it is giving out a nice supply of air bubbles and my 39 year old koi is appreciating it. Just one thing there was no plug and I had to search the house for one. Otherwise easy to get going first class delivery too.

This seems well made and in the couple of days we’ve had it functions well.Two downsides -No plug which is a problem if you don’t have a spare one from before they are mainly moulded on or if you never learnt to wire a plug.Main downside for us is the bright green air tubing. It lies on the top of the pond in coils, doesn’t sink in use and attracts the eye and doesn’t meld with the natural colour scheme of the pond.ConclusionA bit of an eyesore, not sold ready to plug in and use but appears to work efficiently.I wouldn’t buy again I would search for sometime more discreet and not so noticeable.

Excellent quality. Does what is needed

The media could not be loaded. One of the weakest pumps iv seen. I have a 20Lh aquarium pump with is 90% more powerful. The Blagdon barley causes any disturbance. Video shows 4 air stones on the blagdon vs my 2 stones on a cheap 20Lh pump at 2ft deep and you can see the difference.
