This pads are very soft and squishy. They have no support to them at all, they are simply meant to cushion and protect a tender surgical area from the tight pot-op compression wrapping. I did not have liposuction, but I did have an abdominal hernia, and these cushions are making a difference under the brace I have on. I was using cotton gauze folded and folded over onto itself as a cushion, but these foam pads are much more comfortable and easy to put into place. They also are not as hot as the cotton gauze, which seemed to trap my body heat and then get damp from sweat. None of that has happened with this foam. Can recommend.
