Good camera, good price
I purchased this item to capture pictures of wildlife as well as to monitor a building development behind my home in the future. The key feature to me was being able to connect to the camera with my phone and not have to pull out the SD card to review what pictures were taken. I've been using this for 2-3 weeks now and I like the results. The pictures are good I like being able to view / delete pictures and videos very easily. The battery life has been good but that's a longer term evaluation. I like that you can monitor the battery life through the app. The only downside for me was that the manual wasn't as clear how to initialize everything. But once you get the unit started up, it's relatively intuitive to use.

Easy !
This is my first trail camera and I know these things can get a bit pricey, but for the cost, this was an amazing buy! The motion sensor picks up the leaves wrestling, which could get annoying, but I’m happy it picks up small movement. It’s easy to work and it is secure. Put it on my roof for about two weeks to let nature beat it up. It came back with a little bit of dirt but otherwise indirect sun at almost 90° weather plus horrible hail storm it held up very well. During that time I did not need to go out and adjust any straps. I didn’t need to go up to the roof and Reset it for any reason. It just worked.

Easier to setup that I expected.
I’d have given 5 stars but for the very poor English in the EN part of the manual. The manual has 4 other European languages; others proficient in those languages would have to judge their translation quality. The manual would have you think you need several inconvenient steps, like making sure nothing else is connected to your smartphone by Bluetooth or WiFi. I ignored all that, and the app worked straightaway without any head scratching on my part. You’re able to use the app to make settings; as opposed to the using the Settings button on the camera.About WIFi: I have security cameras with continuous WiFi connectivity. And I was actually expecting this camera to behave that way initially. But in fact, it works more like my dash cams: When you want to connect to it, it sets up as a WiFi base, and you connect your phone to that (via a popup) to look at the Gallery of pictures/videos.So it works; just that it’s the “connect to see what it stored” style like my dash cams, vs “full time viewing and control” with my security cameras .For example, I can be in a foreign country to view my security cameras; including some that are only battery-powered.But this camera connects only temporarily when your smartphone is within range. In my case, it means I can go to a room inside my house, somewhere near where I have the camera setup outdoors, and connect to it without going outdoors. One thing to think about: There’s a place in the app to set up and account (user name and password). Until I visit the manual again, I could speculate this account could allow the camera to be viewed remotely via my house WiFi. I’ll check that out when time permits. That all being said, this camera meets my needs because I got it to determine what kinda animal is pooping near the foundation of my house. And I might get at least one more.So based on my experience so far, it’s been a good purchase.

Exceptional Trail Camera for Property Monitoring and Wildlife
I’ve been using the DEATTI Trail Camera for a month to monitor my property and keep an eye on wildlife, and it’s absolutely phenomenal! The 48MP photos and 4K videos are razor-sharp, capturing every detail, even at night with the no-glow night vision. The 0.1s trigger speed is incredibly fast, sensitive enough to catch cars passing on the road hundreds of feet away, making it perfect for monitoring driveway activity or distant property boundaries. The WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity is a standout feature. I can easily view and download images to my phone via the intuitive app, which connects flawlessly within 20 meters. Setup was quick, and the included 32GB SD card and 8 AA batteries got me started immediately. The battery life lasts about two weeks with frequent captures, and the IP66 waterproof design ensures durability through rain and wind.I adjusted the motion sensor sensitivity to avoid triggers from small movements like branches, which was straightforward. This camera is a fantastic value, offering professional-grade features for property security and wildlife observation. I’d recommend it to anyone needing a reliable, high-quality trail camera. It’s quick, sensitive, and delivers stunning results!

Crisp clear pictures
I previously had purchased a trail cam and my son said no, no. Return that and get a good one. This is the one he picked out for me and came out to set it up for me. I bought to put near my front door as my dog goes nuts at night when something is prowling, but I had never seen anything. So….the reason for the trail cam. This camera was an easy set up, partly because my son was familiar with trail cams and the instructions were easy. It takes beautiful crisp, clear pictures which you can view on a free app they supply you with. Night pictures are almost as clear as the day pictures. We had it on video for a while, but decided to switch back to stills to keep from running the battery down to fast. This camera doesn’t just face forward either. It has lens on either side. I am glad my son had me return the other camera. I am very happy with this one.
