This jump starter is seriously awesome! The Z8 has been a lifesaver for my car and even worked like a charm on my friend’s diesel truck. I have ordered two of these within 60 days of each other, and the same thing happened to both of them. The charging port input is a Type-C to USB charging cord. The Type-C (input) end goes into the jumper pack to charge the unit. The metal ring that houses the Type-C end, has came completely off and is now loose inside the jumper pack. So once again, there is nowhere to plug the charger in to the jumper pack.Neither unit was drop or damaged in any way. The input for the charger is not of good quality; it was not properly made. There's nothing behind the metal ring that holds it in place. It's just wedged in oval space with nothing behind it to keep it from falling into the unit. So, now I can no longer charge the jumper pack. I feel like whoever built these particular units might have skipped a step--or it's a major design flaw. Lastly, there is no way to retrieve the metal ring or fix the input. I don't see any easy way to open the unit, plus I shouldn't even have to worry about this happening. I am past my return date, and I am not happy at all. I shouldn't have ordered a replacemnet, and should have just returned it.

One star off for the color. The device I received looks absolutely nothing like the photo in the Amazon ad. Thw style in the photo had a huge part in my decision making to purchase this item. The design I received isn't blue either. I wanted the device in the color BLUE for a specific reason. I am highly disappointed about the color. Highly.Otherwise, although I haven't used it on a vehicle, it is operational and functional. It is the smaller size I was looking for, it came with its own storage case, which is very sturdy, along with all of the attachments as described as well as an instructions for use manual. The device also has a flashlight/emergency light. It is a white light as opposed to an amber or red colored light.

This thing is impressive. They packed a 60Wh battery, an air compressor, and a 4500A jump starter into a package smaller than most similarly-specced jumpstarters. If you're looking for a device that does both and have limited room in your trunk, seriously consider this one. I can fit it in the back of my RAV4 Prime XSE (which carries a full-height spare tire in addition to the traction battery and even the 12v battery in the trunk area, so very limited underfloor space).I purchased half a dozen devices like this and THIS is the one that fits.The air compressor has six adjustable presets for inflation, two of which are measured in bar and four in PSI. The included air compressor hose is even long enough to inflate 19-inch wheels while resting on the ground. The light isn't blindingly bright, and throws over a wider area than most of the competing products.Another review mentions the USB-C charging port not being securely fitted. I haven't had an issue, yet, but a delicate touch when charging is probably a good idea. The rest of the device seems robust enough to tumble around in the back/in the engine bay/on asphalt.
