Excellent monitor for the price
I wanted to use this screen for a couple of months before reviewing. It's excellent, it's simple, light weight and easy to use. The clarity is fantastic, though the colours are a bit muted, especially the reds. However, for the price that is easy to let slide. I use it alongside my laptop as my second screen. I love that all it requires is a simple USB-C lead to work. There are also options to use it via the HDMI. I also plan on using it as a large, leight weight monitor on my corporate video shoots. It should be noted that for some modes additional power will be needed in order to play the monitor at full brightness. Overall, it is a bargain.

So much is easier with a second screen - this one is brilliant and affordable
I bought this monitor with two uses in mind. Firstly as a second screen for work at my desk - here it will show a window containing a chat or email window or a browser window that I want to copy stuff from. Work stuff. Your need will be different eg I work better writing in a portrait / vertical window so being able to turn a portable monitor 90° is a plus. The second need is for a monitor that I can carry to odd situations such when I need to see the console on a server machine and fix eg a network connection. The Yodoit is light and USB-C cables are trivially easy to handle. The Yodoit monitor is versatile - it gives me several ways to connect it to a device. If my device was made with a USB-C video out then USB-C is your best friend. I successfully connected to all I could find - a iMac, a Windows laptop, a Chromebook and OnePlus 10 pro phone. They were able to connect with the good quality USB-C cable (supplied). My Android phone and Chromebook connections needed the second Yodoit USB-C socket to be connected to a USB charger - again a good USB charger is supplied though I used whatever USB charger was handy (wall socket). The image quality is FHD and great and the brightness is amazing and extremely usable for my 'second monitor' on my desk needs.Apart from using USB-C to view most of my devices there's an HDMI socket that'll work with traditional desktop PCs or servers or a gaming box.A tip for semi-permanent desk mounting ideas: If you've a vertical surface this monitor is light enough to be fixed with gel tape (nano tape). Clean both surfaces, use full lengths of tape and of course check for goodness.A tip for odd situations: I have a mini (m) to full HDMI (f) adapter which I think I might need one day in my work in IT support eg where a client's laptop screen has failed.

Yodoit portable monitor, well worth the purchase!
Great purchase, I am using this portable monitor as my 3rd monitor on my desk and my portable option when travelling. Super easy to set up, it is bright and has good resolution and picture quality. I have had no issues at all with flickering or anything else. I would definitely recommend it, as a matter of fact, I bought it twice for my girlfriend as well.

Excellent product and perfect for our use case
This monitor has exceeded all our expectations to be honest. Grabbing it for about £75 which incredible value, and it's been perfect to add to a portable Mac Studio for multitrack recording. Small footprint means it sits basically on top of the machine itself with a single USBC cable connecting it and powering it. Couldn't have asked for a better piece of tech to complete this setup at low cost. Would highly recommend.

Monitor peforms it function well but beware of cheap and nasty cables
For £70, you probably get your moneys worth. It's a decent size, lightweight and works great. I particularly like that, unlike other models I looked at, it has dual USB C sockets. It means plugging in my laptop charger to the monitor, then connecting by USB C it also passes charge back through to my laptop, powering both.So why 4 and not 5? The included USB C cable. When I came to my first actual use outside of testing it worked, when I was using the monitor on the go, I had the thought "Hmm... plugging the cable in and out might cause some strain. Will need to watch that." The thought had barely left my head and the cable suffered the same fate as many a cheap USB C cable and the head broke off in the port.Luckily there was enough poking out the other end that it was easy to remove from my device and I could use the (also included) HDMI cable but if you are going to use the USB C connectivity, I'd strongly recommend a good cable. If you're going to use it for it's intended purpose (something that's going to be mobile and may be used in multiple devices, rather than statically always connected to one) then I'd expect the same fate.Only knocking the 1 start off for that because, really, what do you expect for £70? Some may say "A functioning device that won't have a failure like within a week", and I get the point, but realistically a decent quality USB video cable will cost £10+ by itself. This comes with a few different cables, and the actual monitor, so you pretty much know the cable is going to be at the low end.It wouldn't put me off getting it again but, really, if you're getting a monitor that may do some travelling about with you then the cable will too so it'd be worth investing in one that's a bit more rugged along with this anyway.

Perfect and as advertised.
Fantastic product, good screen which I now use every day! Make sure you have a long enough cable to plug it in as it draws laptop batteries quite quickly as you would expect, the cover work great as a stand, you do not need anything different. It does benefit from a neoprene basic case though to offer some protection as the lid will open as you put it in and out of a bag.
