ZONE3 Swim Safety Buoy/Inflatable Tow Float for Open Water Swimmers, Triathletes

Very unique and bright, I love it!

I unfortunately have not had the chance to use this in the water yet due to weather and scheduling issues, but so far I'm happy with the quality of this. It was easy to inflate (there's a tube you can just blow into, which my middle-school-aged daughter did easily herself). The colors are also very bright, and I'm confident the colors are good for visibility (I heard that orange is good for visibility on water).The quality also seems good. It's a fairly thick plastic, so I think it will hold up well. There are several straps you can use. We'll be planning to anchor this out in the water where we will be swimming, but I can see how it could pretty easily be used if you will be swimming further out or longer distances (by attaching it to yourself).

I open water swim in the Gulf of Mexico, so a swim buoy is vital. This one, with its fun colors and pattern let my kids make a game of spotting me from shore while I swim. It fits well and stays inflated no matter how rough the water is while I'm out (though if it's TOO rough, I stop swimming). It isn't high end, nor does it have any bells or whistles, but it is a good no-nonsense budget swim buoy.
