Strong table easy install on JK tailgate
Laser cut from heavy gauge aluminum very stable. Perfect for holding camp stove, hand tools, laptop etc. Clean appearance looks OEM. Good performance plus no rattles. One of the best aftermarket mods I’ve made to my JKU. Not cheap but good value. I like this table so much I may buy a second one to install on my small camping trailer.Only thing I didn’t like was exposed wires after removing black plastic trim panel, so I uparmored with 3/8” plastic wiring harness split tubing, taped with electrical tape (see photos).The two thumbwheel bolts for holding table closed seem likely to be lost so I may rig a better way to secure table in closed position, or just use a bungee cord. But if these fasteners had retainer plates installed to retain them when unscrewed (the table in down position) problem would be solved.You will lose about an inch of interior space with tailgate closed, and as another reviewer noted it won’t fit if you have the factory subwoofer in the rear.A nice plus with the table up and tailgate closed: the thin sheet metal of the JK tailgate is protected from denting.

It's NOT made of aluminum !!!
It doesn't look badly made but the description says it's made out of aluminum but it is definitely entirely made of steel as last I checked magnets do not stick to aluminum and aluminum is not this heavy so it's getting returned.

Easy install on my JL
Holes lined up perfectly with mounting points of vehicle. Holes only needed to be drilled in premarked positions in plastic piece on tailgate. Spacers were perfecrly sized, all hardware more than adequate. Pictured with E-tool and 3 Ifak pouches

Works but as a pain in the butt.
It works, but it has to be finagle to fit right and you don’t wanna undo anything or you won’t get it back together perfectly not a user-friendly set up but it holds well if you’re just using it to hold equipment.

Wrong dimensions
Product seems sturdy, but is not the dimensions mentioned. Claims to be 20” wide but is actually 28” wide. Does not fit my application.

bad fit
bad fit- cable get in way when trying to tighten.. tray was not squared- would not shut
