Quality product
this is really a very capable product. Affordable, well made, and works as described. BTW I didn't get the one with the firery design which is good.

Nice power supply unit
Really well made. I use it to break in small slot car motors and to test the cars. Someday I might use it to power my track. Easy to use. I like the digital readout. I wish it had come with leads. Another trip to store to buy these before I was able to use it. I would highly recommend this unit. It also looks cool too.

Moderate buyer's remorse
This is sold as a power supply for tattoo machines. I guess that should have tipped me off that it wasn't a precise piece of lab equipment. For an electronics hobbyist, it will do the job, but if I had researched a bit longer I think I could have found a better choice. The voltage readout doesn't seem very accurate, consistently displaying about a volt higher than it actually delivers, at least according to my admittedly cheap multimeter. The adjustment knob is also very finicky if you're trying to dial in a specific voltage. I haven't used it long enough to comment on its reliability but so far I'm having moderate buyer's remorse.

Price & delivery good. Unit works as expected
Price & delivery good. Unit works as expected. Only issue is the voltage adjustment is too sensitive. It's difficult to set a precise voltage.

Not good for tattooist!
Got this just yesterday and its not at all compatible with the standard tattoo gun. Appearently it requires a specific foot pedal! I would not recomend it.

Changed my mind - I don't like it
I've used this for about two weeks and so far so good. The low end is not as low as advertised per my meter, and I trust my meter. The lowes mine will go is about 2.25 volts, but that's not an issue for my application. The high end voltage is ok. So far it's doing as advertised on the current capability. My application is not sensitive to overshoot or ripple so I've not attempted to measure those, and won't. Based on two weeks use I'd buy it again.Update on 7-27-2016: After using this supply for two months I've downgraded my rating to two stars based on what I perceive to be instability of the supply output voltage. I'm not using it to control a motor. I'm using it to power very small light bulbs and running well under the two amp output rating at about 9 volts. This supply seems to have problems supplying anything over 1 amp per my meter, which I trust. The output voltage swings up or down over 5 volts once it's above 1 amp. After changing the load, the output voltage still does not recover on its own. I have to manually adjust it, and then later look at the display (and measure it with my meter) and find that it's changed significantly again. I've checked my lighting enough to understand it's not my lighting. I have another 2 amp supply that handles it just fine. No problems. So I'll keep this supply on my bench, where I can use it for testing, and where I can keep an eye on it. But as far as leaving unattended to power circuits that could be damaged by over voltage or surging when turning on, not happening. I would not have paid this price for something to sit on my bench for testing.

Variable power supply
I use this as a bench power supply for various electronic hobbies. It can power a bread board or be used for working with RC components, etc. It's light weight and my meters read its output as being fairly accurate. There are banana plugs on the front which should make it easy to connect to whatever you want. I have not put much of a consistent load on it, but so far it has held up just fine.
