I recently got my hands on the Misilmp Digital USB Microscope, and I am beyond impressed with its performance! This microscope has been a total game-changer for both my kids and me. Quite a amazing microscope for the money, the little 4 inch screen makes it so fun to use it, since there's no fussing aroung with apps or wires since it has a rechargable battery, the camera quality is quite good for the price, you can see pretty much anything you'd like to. It has built in storage, so you can store some photos without needing a micro sd card. If you connect the microscope to your computer, you can view the camera feed and access the storage without needing any drivers. Overall very pleased, great for soldering small components and to have fun around the house seeing what things look at a higher magnifcation.

The media could not be loaded. I bought for use with soldering practice. I need practice!Anyhow, for me it's great. It's a WELCOME device - any mobile phone reviewer knows them well :)Nice clear image, can fine zoom in and out when on focus.May focal length only 4cm so can't do bigger items.Easy enough to put together.Light is very bright but you can turn it down.I have no need to add images or videos to a microSD card, but you can if you want. Likewise I have no need to hook up my PC.I mean - so far so good and why spend more if this device does the job?Can't quote on how long it will last, but it seems well built.I like it. I'm also glad I didn't spend more than is neccesary.

I quite like this microscope, it's not the most robust or rigid but at this price point it's better made than I would have expected. The claimed 1000x magnification is nonsense of course but be careful when using as it's easy to over-look that it has TWO focal points when looking at very small objects and one of them gives a lot more magnification than the other. Be sure to check the full range of the focus wheel to make sure you find both! The optical quality is quite good, easily fine enough to see the individual fibers of paper, or the individual dots of ink in a print. The built-in LED is plenty bright enough for all the applications and I tried. The in-built battery achieves quite reasonable life and it's very handy to have it fully portable like that.In general it's a simple but effective little microscope for occasional use and represents good value for money but don't expect professional quality from it.

Have seen these used for years on YouTube videos repairing watches and electronics and always wanted one for looking at jewellery and the odd watch and this seemed a good buy as a starter unit without investing too much money. Surprised actually to how good it is, it's even got a built in rechargeable battery so can be used away from a power source which is a nice feature. Decent magnification on an up to 2MP image which is more than enough for me, clearly displayed on the inbuilt screen or connect to a laptop and it's just seen as another camera so you can view on a larger display easily. It has an adjustable light which again very useful when zooming in to an item. Can add an SD card to record images or video but not something I've bothered with and could record directly to the laptop if required. Its a plastic base unit so obviously higher end units can be found but at this price point this a great little buy in my opinion.

Really pleased with this, been using it to look at electrical boards up close and it’s really helped take the pressure off my eyes.Battery life is good, compact and tidy design, good overall price and quality.
