Task 379139 Combination Square 300 mm

The ruler part is well finished and clearly marked. Checked these measurements against a steel ruler and believe them to be accurate. Checked the angles against a protractor and these are accurate. The locking mechanism works smoothly and well.

This is a tool purely for DIY an not for work purposes as the accuracy of the bubble is not as high as you'd expect with professional brands but the tool works as it should and is good for the price

If your anything like me and like to save a bit of money by fixing stuff, doing jobs round the house and making things from time to time then this is a must have for your tool kit. Used it a few times with no issues.

Brought for basic use and for rough markings. When used for precision work it has too much movement and fixings aren’t as good as they could be. The measures are also slightly out not enough to make a huge issue but against a more expensive product you can see small variances.

Perfect combination tool it's lite had heavier and more expensive ones that was as good wasn't expecting it to be so good for the money worth every penny 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

It is a sturdy piece of kit and there is no wobble when the knob is tightened. I am very glad I chose this set square.The first thing I did was check that it is set to 90 degrees properly and it is.- The 45 degree edge also seems to be OK but my check might not be accurate [checking 45 degrees is a lot more complicated than checking 90 degrees].- You can turn the rule round in the housing to have either cm or inches on the outside.- Inches are divided into 1/16ths on one surface of the rule and 1/32ths on the other- The rule can be set to a maximum of 25cm sticking out from the edge.- I have now been using this set square for a week. I have moved the rule about & retightened the knob several times and I have dropped it a couple of times. Despite all this, the set square remains nicely square.The knurled knob by the spirit level houses a small metal scribe. Just undo it and you will see. cheap end of market, you get what you pay for tbh. Not very well made or constructed for accurate use.
