Where there are chickens there are often hawks and sometimes that predator will take out your favorite bird (it’s *always* the favorite). I decided to try this tape as a deterrent since the fake owls weren’t doing their job. It seems to be working. Tied around the property (it’s a small farm) these holographic streamers appear to keep the several varieties of hawks away. I can still see and hear them but they aren't flying over or landing on the utility poles. Years ago people would hang up old CDs and the silvery rainbow shine was said to scare off raptor types. No CDs these days but this is a cost effective, no harm done alternative. Worth a try!

The media could not be loaded. I finally found the solution to my duck problem! Ducks find my pool every year! I have tried flotation toys, owls, fishing line, and even my dog, but they always come back. Since putting up this ribbon, I haven’t had a problem. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the ribbon is pretty thin. When I first put it up, I had it too close to the pool surface. My pool cleaner caught it and I found ribbon wrapped around the wheels of the cleaner. I have since re-attached the ribbon to higher anchor points, but because it’s so thin, I need to check regularly to make sure it hasn’t broken. It’s been doing fine for over two weeks though and I have yet to see a duck!

Works well, keeps Turkey, Birds, Rabbits, Squirrels away from garden, and fruits trees.

We put this tape up yesterday, late afternoon & this morning (18 hrs later), bird still trying to build nest. So, this was of no use & I will be returning it.

Bright and pretty but got brittle and broke away after 2 months

This was so bright and eye catching, it is certain to scare away the birds from my tomatoes! The birds have just started to eat the red part of my tomatoes and I tied this reflective tape off the fence around my garden so that it will flap in the wind. I also tied long pieces to the top of the rebar I use to tie my tomatoes to. The rebar is about 7 feet long so the tape can really flap in the wind. I notice less birds in the garden. Usually they take a few bites of tomatoes, then fly over to the bird bath for a quick drink lol! And I have enough to last a few years!!

Didn't do much, I would recommend the scare ballons over this tape.
