It needs to be super expensive in order to work properly
Tired of being dealing with the original installed by the builder on our new home and nightmare electrical braker going off without any malfunction out of nowhere every once in awhile or very often on my home AC unit, the AC guy and the electrician and a few other people suggested me to buy this one super expensive $$$$$ and also WiFi and finally the problem was solved , it’s like the previous was the chipest version of Leviton. This was the last resource before replacing the whole electric panel as few of my neighbors did !

Works good
It’s nice if you want to see how much energy that circuit is using in real time. I installed mine on my heat pump circuit. It is made to set up for a battery or generator system. You can have it turn off during an electrical outage and turn back on when power is restored. This way you don’t have to use a bigger generator. I’m thinking maybe install one on an oven or car charger. I don’t like that I had to buy a $300 home monitor to make it work. This meant I wasted money buying the first gen monitor.

Easy to install and commission in app
I’ve installed 5 of these and they’ve all commission immediately with no problems with their iOS app. The app doesn’t always update usage unfortunately.

Amazing product, but does not work on all panels
Great product, but has a limitation. Only works with specific panels and that is not mentioned in the description

Defective - Keeps Tripping in Error
Received a defective breaker. Although it pairs correctly with the Leviton Whole Home Energy Monitor using the app, after installation, it tripped fairly quickly, initially reporting an over-current condition. After resetting it and updating the firmware, after an hour it tripped again, this time reporting a ground-fault. (Note that it replaced an equivalent 15-amp Leviton non-smart AFCI/GFCI breaker that has never reported a fault on the same circuit.) Moved to another circuit (also with a Leviton non-smart AFCI/GFCI breaker that has never reported a fault) and after a few hours it tripped again reporting a ground-fault. For an item that is so important and tedious to replace, there should be higher quality control.

Expensive & Not Compatible With LDATA Hub
This is the replacement for the $100ish Gen 1 smart breaker. For double the cost it adds the ability to remotely turn the breaker on. I'm sure this could be useful, but I haven't thought of a use case yet in my world...The **huge** downside of these breakers is that they are not compatible with Leviton's LDATA hub, you have to update to the LWHEM hub ($326 today on Amazon, buy probably less at Home Depot and other places) if you want to keep the "smart" functionality of this breaker. I'm quite disappointed by Leviton's decision to discontinue the Gen 1 breakers and to not support any of the smart functions (as far as I can tell) of this breaker on the LDATA hub. Also, with the breaker installed in our panel, but switched off and no load connected, I got a notification that it had experienced a ground fault. I don't know yet if this is buggy software or a defective breaker.

Much wider than a 2 pole breaker
This would have been awesome if it fit. It's wider than the 2 pole breakers I already have.
