Nauticus Smart Tabs SX 9.5” x 10” - f/12-16’ Boat w/40-80HP - White

Got a deep vee palm beach center console 16 ft . With a yama 50hp 2stroke.. before i put the tabs on she took a bit to plane out now takea about 2 seconds which is about 5 or 6 seconds faster than without.. also i run the boat in the ocean never inland. So rough conditions most days and before without tabs we took a beating up and down (bouncing or porpoiseing) now the bow holds true and straight, cuts rite through the wake as if the bow somehow had added weight to it but only when needed.Bottom line, they work period. And are guaranteed to improve the boat in 1 way or another. And at roughly 100$ usd give or take a few $$ its probably the cheapest mod you will ever do to your boat with this much noticeable difference!!

Mounted these on a Boston Whaler Super Sport. Installation was easy, with clear instructions. All hardware included - you just need a small amount of marine adhesive to seal the screw holes. Greatly improved handling at all speeds - gets the hull up on plane quickly. Fixed a stern-heavy condition caused by repowering with a heavier motor. Five manual settings on each tab to customize lift to your specific situation. Important - visit Nauticus website to find out proper tab size for your hull and engine HP.

Have not installed yet.... Because I can't. One of the tabs did not have the holes drilled. Now I'm stuck in the dilemma of just doing it myself so I can get out on the water or waiting for the customer service to make me whole. Everything seems like it is decent quality but can't test until fixed.

The distributor recommended a strong damper. 40 is so strong that the ship went 5 kilometers slower.So I had to buy a 30 gauge. I use this on the lowest setting.4.70 cm long boat Honda BF 60 engine. I use it for donuts and wakeboarding.It works! It's good for what it's designed for.Great for donuts and wakeboarding.

I was skeptical something like this would be able to make any huge improvements on my 15' fiberglass runabout.All I can say is WOW! When fully loaded with passengers and gear, it gets on plane very quickly! Before it would struggle and hardly plane at all.The porpoising has been eliminated as well! I noticed no difference in top end speed but it gets there much quicker. It feels like a completely different and much more refined boat! This is a great investment and very easy to install. Highly reccomend!

These smart tabs make a huge difference on my old boat (14 foot, 1966 Glasspar). It planes much quicker, bow visibility is much better, and it is significantly smoother at higher speeds. And the instructions are way simple - I installed them myself in less than 30 minutes. The top speed is slightly reduced but that's fine - you rarely get to wide open throttle on the ocean anyway. NOTE: these tabs are susceptible to marine growth. I'm going to put a coat of ablative white bottom paint on them.

Have had a problem with my 1965 glasspar runabout at wot. Installed the trimtabs and got these results.Boat stayed almost flat at 1/4 speed instead of bow up, rode the waves smoother, balance port to starboard was even, gained 2 mph at wot.My friend is buying the same tabs now after hearing about the improved performance in my boat.Great product !
