A bit gimmicky - will probably end up in landfill
I am reviewing Pulsky Solar Floating Light 2 pcsI'm not overwhelmed by this. It's a bit gimmicky for me. It looks horrid in the daylight, like a bit of plastic litter. But when lit up at night it's quite nice. I like the fact that it floats in a pool, if you have hot tub or a swimming pool great, but don't put it in the pond. It's not good for wildlife as it will distract and disorientate them if lit at night. It's solar powered, which is good, but I fear it will end up in landfill. Quite expensive too.

Pretty when it's dusk and dark.
These Pulsky Floating Pond lights are very pretty when it is dusk and darkCan be manually controlled using the buttons on the flat base, these are on/off and also a mode function. There is also included a small remote control in the box. These floating lights do need the sun tochxarge them and this can not be overrided with a USB cable lead so you need to be prepared before your function.Included in the box is a small pump to inflate them, this took me about 300 in and out pumps for the ball so probably best if you have a larger pump as I found this quite tedious doing it.The balls are well constructed and made from a thick vinyl material so should withstand the elements. You have a secure hanging loop if you want to hang them on your gazebo or tree. The balls retain the air very well, I have these inflated for a whole week now and have not noticed any deflation or sagging yet, still have a plump ball.Long lasting LED lights.Flat base so will not blow away if placed on the ground. These ball lights are well engineered and function as the information pages tell you.The cost of these...... I have nothing to compare these to and have never seen floating light balls before so unable to comment if they are a bargain but they really are unique and pretty so have a 5 star rating.

Basically a cheap beach ball
I was expecting way more for the price. I’ve stopped laughing now I’ve completed my return.

Lovely garden addition
Adding these floating lights to the pond creates a warm and inviting atmosphere in the garden. The glow they emit after a sunny day is soft yet noticeable, making evening gatherings by the water more enjoyable. Inflating the lights is simple, and they hold up well even in unpredictable weather. They float smoothly, and the warm light adds a touch of elegance to the outdoor space. Although the lights are generally reliable, occasionally one may not charge fully, which slightly dims the experience. Nonetheless, they make the garden feel more magical, particularly on clear nights.

Keeps going off after a few minutes
The media could not be loaded. Update.... after having this ball hanging in the sun for 2 days now to charge up I've noticed a fault... it works for a few minutes only then stops working, it will then randomly start again for a few minutes then stop again. I've tried every button on the remote and nothing solves the intermittent fault.I figured it might need a new battery but you can't get at it to replace it because the battery is inside the ball which is sealed so it's watertight so you can never replace the batteryHowever this is a pretty colourful ball when it works , with various colour changing modes that you can choose via the switch underneath. It's like a beach ball but clear polythene with lights inside and a solar panel. It comes deflated and there's a hand pump supplied but take note - it does take some pumping up by hand as it's bigger than a football. When it starts to deflate slightly ( all blow ups do it's not a fault) just pump it back up again before It gets too soft - that way it doesn't take too longIt's well protected from water ingress and it floats well but again - take note... It's lightweight and does get blown about by the wind. These will be great fun in the pool and they can also be hung up as there's a loop on the top to hang it. Mine is going in the garden as a feature for summer evenings.Very pretty and entertaining. I like it. I personally think it's over priced at £24

Waterproof no water ingress so far, good size, looks fab.
The media could not be loaded. These pond or pool lights are easily inflated and look fantastic when working. They’re solar powered so they won’t cost me a penny and they don’t leak like some I’ve had in the past. They have a remote and you can select one of the 16 colours available, dim them or set them to different modes to fade or flash for example. They can also be set on a timer which is great and so I don’t need to have them on all night. When left to their own devices they were still on when I got up around 3 am to go to the loo!Of course they don’t need to be in water and you can have them hung or dotted about in borders, but they do have a magical quality in the water and give a great summer vibe and atmosphere, and I bet they’ll look fantastic at Christmas! They seem well made, are simple to use and can be easily deflated and stored. In my opinion they aren’t cheap but I think the price reflects the quality and you don’t need many.I hope you find my review helpful.

Light balls, heavy price
These lights are inflatable to about the size of a beach ball using a small pump that is included. They do look and feel plasticky and a concern would be that they would burst easily. However, you get a small puncture repair it. They can be used in a pool or hung up, a small eyelet is at the top but as they are like a beach ball they blow about in the wind. Some movement is quite nice as the light string is bright at night, but wind will have them blowing about quite a lot and if they are not fastened down then you will be chasing them about like a beach ball. There is a small remote control included and the charge lasts a good time, but they are a bit lightweight and don't look good during the day.The RRP is too much for what they are. I know they are waterproof and can float, but I think that somewhere around £10 - £15 would be more appropriate.
