Perfect replacement for a 2018 Tiguan
Fit perfectly on a 2018 Tiguan, less than a minute to remove the old and pop on the new one , including opening the shipping envelope.

It fits as described, I'll need to revisit this review if it holds up, but since it is under the hood I wouldn't worry about it. Cheap, easy to install, and looks very similar to the original.

Does not properly fit the make and model.
Poor material waste of money and it did not serve the proper purpose , the heat from under the hood bucked the material so it does not close the cap properly.

Definitely NOT OEM, But Will Work In A Pinch
This is not an OEM part. It fits, but not like an OEM part and does not have the same “snap” and feel that the true VW OEM part has when you close it. I purchased this after my original cap broke. I was taking a 300-mile trip to Gainesville in a couple of days and the one I ordered from VW was going to take a week to get to the dealership for pick-up. I replaced it as soon as I got the actual OEM from VW, but this was a mediocre substitute that worked in a pinch.If you’re not a VW-head like me then it will work for you, but definitely not a OEM part.
