I had been using Hostage tape nose strips for a few months now and I needed to order more and I saw these Blaze strips and thought I would give them a try since the price was much nicer to my pocket book than Hostage Tape. I was excited to try them even though I noticed an unpleasant odor upon opening the bag while the strips were still used another bag inside the bag. I don't have the best smeller so I figured no big deal. I applied the Blaze strips to my nose and it felt similarly comfortable to Hostage Tape, but I could still smell the strip. I was tired so I decided to at least try it for a few days and see if the smell went away. I fell asleep still smelling the strip. I woke feeling alert similarly to how I felt with Hostage Tape but I had a terrible headache. I figured the headache was from sleeping with my neck in an uncomfortable position. The 2nd night I decided to use the Blaze strips again and again the smell was uncomfortable but I know that I needed the help keeping my nasal passages more open so I used it again. Again I woke up alert but with a headache just like the previous morning.3rd night found one Hostage tape nose strip, which I have never noticed a smell, and woke in the morning with no headache. I asked my wife if I was crazy and if she would smell them. She was repulsed by the smell of the bag from almost two feet away. She told me the smell was definitely not good for me or her so I returned them and that was simple and got a full refund. I really wanted to like these because the price, but unfortunately, a headache is too high a price for me to pay. If the ever change the adhesive I would try them again.

Product works well, they stick very well, comfortable / do not itch. Could be a little better price but I'm willing to pay a little extra for USA made.

Yes they work, and you get great value for the quantity. I have been wearing them during sleep, workouts, and throughout my day in public. I’m working with a doctor to fix my nose breathing nonsurgically, and it takes years because it involves wearing a dental appliance similar to a retainer and growing bone in the roof of your oral cavity. This is very slow in adults but doable.I can tell you I noticed that I’m a completely different personality when I’m nose breathing vs. when I’m “regular” mouth breathing. Usually I’m exhausted, cranky, and antisocial. I used to never wake up feeling rested, but now I’m much better (not 100% better but much better). When I wear them to a workout, I’m not tired and writhing on the floor afterwards and I feel like I can keep going.Whereas this isn’t cure or an ideal long term solution, it’s helping me deal with my health issues while the long term treatment plan is slowly taking place. Do I will be using them for at least another 2 years.

Okay for a bit then irritating the nose

These are amazing for oily skin! Absolutely necessary for my good nights sleep! If you have oily skin! They stay on all night!

The adhesive on these is really harsh and makes them difficult and almost painful to remove. I have very fair and thin skin and now have broken blood vessels on my nose because of this. Not only that but the strip itself leaves bruising on the nose from how stiff it is.
