This is THE ROTATION BOX SOLUTION FOR $50 to screen cast onto a television monitor in portrait.I was looking for a solution to rotate the input 90 on a TV for over a month,and found this item linked on a chat board. I was able screen cast from anandroid TriplTek 9 Pro tablet to a cheap 40" Vizio television, turned on end for a portrait aspect ratio.The left and right edge of the display screen was cut off by about 5 percent, on the TV.In a perfect world it would stretch or add black bars to fit the TV, but it was only $50!It is possible an android with a narrower screen would not have the side cutting problem,but maybe then it would cut the top and bottom, instead.Oh well, for $50 it is still an incredible bargain, and it worked great for myportrait specific android software demonstration needs.Anyway, I am very satisfied with the product performance for the price.Other similar devices cost 4 to 6 times as much, and ship from China, and whoknows if they even work.The only other option would be to buy an $800 TV that could rotate internally.This product arrived in just a couple days from stock inside the USA.

I needed a cheaper image inverter for a tv of mine. This device made it super simple, (Literally the click of a button) to flip the image from landscape to portrait even when casting from my phone. It does get a little hot when used for longer periods of time, but pointing a little fan at the exhaust on the device did the trick. Overall did what I needed it to do.

Anytime I try to stream a video the app disconnects from the device.

DIY stageprompter problem resolved. Miracast has a one button function to convert all into portrait mode. Only problem is the range which seems to be within 6-7 feet and some minor lagging when video is projected.

Well this is to cast to your tv or monitor wirelessly. It comes with a HDMI and a USBC. It doesn't come with an adaptor for the unit it's pretty basic and enabled your to connect to the wifi, phone and tablet. If you have. Monitors around the house this will give you some added versatility. After setup it pretty much makes your tv into a smart television mirroring laptop PC tablet and phone. The set up is a bit advanced but with a little tinkering. It works.

This Yinker is very good, probably one of the best miracast adapters that I have had a chance to test in the recent years. There are so many applications for this miracast from in-home entertainment to office based applications, but personally I am using it at home to cast fast and easily on my TV from my phone, tablet or laptop.The device is fairly compact and it comes in a good retail package with a lot of information about the product and how to use it, plus the different device compatibilities. Inside you have the miracast power cable, which is USB-A to USB-C standard, HDMI cable to connect to your TV or monitor and a useful, printed in English user manual as well.For office applications, especially if you are using it with a monitor, you can easily switch between landscape to portrait modes with the press of the button on top of the device. The only minor issue I see is that there is no power adapter included, just a cable, but considering that most households have multiple of those plus most modern TVs and Monitors have available USB ports, you would be able to connect the power cable and use it right away.The bottom of the device is ventilated, which is good, especially if you are casting 4K at 60Hz content, that is a lot of data to be pushed through and extra ventilation helps with the heat management. There are large rubber feet on the bottom as well to help with the device not sliding around out of place too.The connection is good and almost lag free due to the 5Ghz + 2.4Ghz wireless modes, the on screen menu is intuitive and easy to read and you will be able to get everything going in minutes.Overall, a very good and inexpensive casting device.
