As described and works perfectly!
I like to keep a nicely organised drawer and backpack when it comes to cables and devices. I have quite a few cables and the best I own is my braided Apple USB C to USB C. However when it comes to keeping any cable tidy you have loop and tuck the ends over (or at least I do!) and turn them into little rings to take up less room.Because of this I’ve been on the lookout for a magnetic cable after seeing them advertised for sale on here. I read some reviews and they actually put me off for a while. Eventually I took the plunge and purchased this flat sided braided version despite the views saying the magnets were weak.I can honestly say I am really pleased with it. The magnets are weak but for good reason, you don’t want the cable breaking from having to tear it apart each time and not do you want it randomly coiling up. Actually the magnetic strength is just right, yes slightly weak is just what you want! They’re strong enough to hold then cable together neatly and weak enough to unravel easily. Neat and easy, perfect! The weight is noticeably heavier than any standard cable, but nothing that is off putting about it. The feel of the braided cable is also quite nice.I went for the flat version as I like my cables to pack neatly down, whereas the rounded version will pack higher. The 5.5ft cable length also feels about the right length too.My only gripe is that since I purchased this the price has gone up…!

Good product
Nice idea, works well and much tidier than standard cables.

Nice cable, but not sure it helps much
As a simple USB A to USB C cable this is a lovely cable. Nice braided flat cable, good quality feel, nice metal connector housing. Purely as a USB cable it is perfect and does a good job. It is USB 2 only, so don't expect fast data transfers, but it can handle a reasonable charge speed via QC3.0. But be aware that it won't be fast for data transfers, making out at 480Mbps, which is about 40MB/sec. USB3 capable cables can probably deliver faster transfers with the right devices involved. What is nice is that the cable is easily rolled away without the need for a velcro, straps or other ways to secure the roll of cable. However it isn't automatic, you do need to manually roll up the cable, but it does make the task easy. The flat cable is naturally anti-knot, and the magnetic cable means it likes to be in a roll. So good for throwing in a bag with other cables without the worry of it getting tangled.Overall a good cable, although not sure it is worth the asking price of £19.99 at the time of writing this review.

Nice
After watching reviews I realised the magnetic facility wasn’t going to be as strong as I thought but as I don’t use it on a desk or table right now it’s not going to be rolled up as much as it would for others. Saying that, it’s more magnetic than the reviews I watched. My husband is impressed. It’s not going to snap back in place automatically, we are not at that stage of advancement yet, at least not for the masses, you do have to roll it up yourself, but it stays in position which is the main thing. I’d have liked a longer cable like our other one but unfortunately this one was the longest they did. But perfectly happy with it. The reason I bought it was because I bought a new iPad and the cable it comes with is a little on the short side to say the least. Others say the charging speed isn’t up to much. It’s been a long time since I’ve charged something this new, however having something so new, I would have expected it to charge quicker. I did use the apple shorter cable and that charged a lot quicker. I shall have to compare the two more closely in future and maybe amend my review if needed. I suppose it depends what you’re after though.

Meh
The idea is good and length and charging no problem. But it got broken after 2 months.. such a cheap product.

Simplifies your tech organisation, hindsight seems obvious
Love it! I can't stand cable mess. I have tried so many methods. Still slightly worried if in my purse if it could demagnetise my cards but there are magnetic cases, so...? So far, I store in travel cases or use at home. Buying more. Also, I like this brand, tried another, less magnetic, fumbly. So, easier to go, works.

Not very fast, but it is neat
It's okay, and does curl up as shown so it's very neat. However, I bought it to use as a cable in my car for Android auto, and it didn't work. I had to get a proper Samsung cable instead. I moved it into the house to use as a normal charger, and it's certainly not that fast. It's quite expensive for the neatness factor alone so I don't recommend it.

Love that it’s magnetic
You can wind it up and it’s neat and tidy. I love that it’s neat and tidy.
