Vancoco Manifold for Underfloor Heating Stainless Steel with Compression Connection, Flow Meter, Ball Valves, Ventilation, Thermometer 3 Ports

This was the first under floor heating manifold I have purchased. I did research a number of options and am delighted with my choice. I’m not one to write regular reviews but due to the quality and excellent engineering details of this manifold I must share my views.All the components were individually encased in a purpose designed foam insert within a box. Not only is the manifold stainless steel, but so too are all the individual parts. The connections between the components are rubber ‘o’ rings with locking nuts. The design allows the supply and return connections to be either left or right hand.I was so impressed that I immediately ordered a second manifold and am pleased to report that both are now sucessfully installed - with no leaks!!My only reservation is that nowhere does the adequate paperwork advise where spares can be obtained.Well done Vancoco.

My mother in laws underfloor heating was installed by the previous owners of her house maybe 15 years ago or more and has never worked very well despite having tradesmen in to try to balance the flow since she moved in.After limping through winter my husband feels like he’s now in a position to replace the manifold which is a bit like the heart of the system and distributes heated water into the individual loops.The manifold arrives with mounting brackets, helping to save on installation time. It has a brushed stainless steel design, and each rail is continuous (as opposed to some others on the market which are modular, and bolt together) meaning that there are as few joints and seals as possible, reducing the risk of leaks.Other components that are included are temperature gauges and valves, automatic air inlets, flow meters and sealing rings.The manifold allows us to individually control the temperature and monitor the flow rate for the three zones in her bungalow concurrently.The manifold needs to be installed by a qualified professional, and this particular manifold was significantly cheaper than a similar model.Hopefully this manifold will distribute heated water throughout the home whilst managing pressure, flow-rates and temperature regulation. It appears well made, and when it is correctly configured, should ensure heated zones will evenly heat the space, even where different floor finishes have been used.I will update the review should any issues arise but at this point we are very happy with the quality of the build.I hope you find my review helpful.
