Work well, easy to pair, and solidly built
I just used two of these briefcase units (2x100w) at Burning Man and they worked great. I put them on top of the trailer and really didn't bother to turn them toward the morning and evening sun. During the day they got to a high of about 150W generated (combined) which was about perfect for the Yeti 1400 battery we also bought, when combined with my plugging in the yeti battery when the trailer's generator was on. I might add a 3rd unit in the future, but for now two was just fine. While I did bungee them to the roof of the trailer, they are pretty heavy and I wasn't too worried about any issues with wind. That said, given their weight, I really wouldn't want to have a single 200W unit.More specifically on the 2x100W vs. 1x200W, I'm really glad I bought two 100W briefcase units instead of one 200W unit. The two units fit perfectly on top of each other on the Frontrunner Outfitters shelf in the back of my Jeep wrangler. I just put a towel between the bottom unit and the shelf and then a towel between the first unit and the second unit and then strapped them down with two 48" flat bungee cords. The towels were probably overkill but given the solar panels face outwards (exposed) when the briefcase is closed I wanted to be safer than sorry. Also, the towels helped the units to not slide on the shelf. The size was also perfect in that I had room to the left of the two panels on the shelf to put the battery. Perfect fit. In addition to a single 200w unit being probably too big for my purposes, these units are not light and I wouldn't really want to haul a single 200W unit onto the top of my trailer. One note on pairing panels: You can't plug one set of panels into another set and then to your battery. I plugged the two sets of panels into one Goal Zero 4x 8mm combiner to Anderson adapter and then ran a single Anderson power line into the trailer.

Excellent Quality
Goal Zero never disappoints. I have several of their products and this charger did not disappoint. Very rugged, but slightly heavy, to be expected given the quality of the unit. Easy to setup and use.

Great Product, Check The Cables
I purchased this panel to compliment my Goal Zero Yeti 500 (Not the 500x) in the hopes that this solar panel setup would be a permanent setup over my shed, and the battery itself could be portable if needed.Keep in mind to check what power adapters you are able to connect, and do the math if you have multiple panels planned. (Voltage & Amps, even if the Watts are ok). This panel comes with the MC4 cables, and you will need to be creative to pair them (in series or parallel) with other panels if you hope to connect it to one of the smaller batteries. I thought I did enough research, but the information I thought I needed was not available on the Amazon site (It was on Goal Zero's site, albeit cryptically).Bottom Line: The panel is awesome, quality is impressive... But check before you buy that it is compatible with your system, especially if you are pairing it with multiple panels. I have some creative work ahead to make it all work.

Heavy at 42 pounds (for me). Well built, Make sure you have correct cables/adapter to work with Non-Goal Zero Solar Genererato
Boulder 200 Briefcase. Very Heavy at 42 pounds (for me). Well built, so far, got it yesterday With the Adapter Cable from Goal Zero connecting Boulder 200 to MC4 I am able to charge various non-GoalZero "solar generators" including but not limited to Suaoki 400 WH and Suaoki G500 and EasyFocus 288 WH units. This morning I got 139 Watts...9.something AMPS and it was not yet in direct FULL sun. It charged my solar generators very quickly which is why I got it. Goal Zero case (fabric) came with a small hole in it and Goal; Zero offered a free replacement.UPDATE: On an overcast day, today, I get 20 or so Watts/1.9X AMPS !I suggested to Goal Zero that they RE-DESIGN their case with the handle at the BOTTOM and all around zipper. Therefore making it MUCH easier to get the Boulder 200 into the case without lifting 42 pounds high enough to get into the case as it is presently designed. With my concept for the case, you simply open the case and slip it OVER the Boulder 200 and then zip it all up, so the handle is then on top and no light or other lifting is required.I'll update this review if necessary. I have PTSD from my military service and for whatever reason I am OCD about losing power. I also have several 60W and 100W FOLDING, light weight (6 pounds or less from Allpowers and Suaoki) but they obviously don't put out the AMPS that the Boulder 200 does. I recommend this.

Love it.
I love all of Goal Zero products. I have the older Boulder 90, and now I've added this Boulder 100 to the mix. I purchased the Boulder 100 because the Yeti 1000 that I own charges quicker when I use two solar panels. I don't chain them, I plug each one into a separate input port. It's great that the Yeti 1000 has multiple ways to charge it. My Boulder 90 is mounted permanently. This Boulder 100 can move around outside to take advantage of multiple angles throughout the day. I like its portability, but it is a bit heavy. I'm thinking of purchasing the Boulder 50 for added portability, though it's not as powerful. I have my system because I live in northern New England where the electricity goes out about 5 or 6 times a year, sometimes for days at a time. Since I move the Boulder 100 around in the yard I purchased the 8.0MM INPUT 30FT EXTENSION CABLE. I found that I needed the cable right away, so I wish I had bought it at the same time as the Boulder 100. You can call the Goal Zero folks on the phone Monday through Friday with questions, or ask them online during their hours of operation. They are very helpful. I can only say great things about the company. I think the products are expensive, but I've found that they are worth the money. I also try to purchase open box products from their website because it's cheaper that way.
