Good only to retain water moisture
The bark chips are neatly cut in even size. Noticed they absorb water so very good where one has to water intermittent like in case of orchids.However found that orchids do not host or throw out new roots when used as a sole medium.Use coconut chips and charcoal,etc ,then can use these kiwi bark chips sprinkled on top to help maintain optimum moisture.By itself your dedombrium will wither without a compatible host
