After many random purchases, I finally found the perfect travel dog carrier. The sizing is perfect for my 16 pound dachshund to be comfortable and fits easily under the airline seat. Bonus feature is it has a pocket on the back that can go over my suitcase handle which keeps it secured on top of my carry on. I love that the carrier keeps its structure. The handle can also be removed and used as a leash. You won’t regret buying this. Worth every penny!

Quality pet carrier with an internal wire frame to keep the bags shape and thick, climbing rope style handles. My only nitpick is that they advertise this bag for dogs (small - medium size), but it is the perfect size for cats as well! I use this to carry my two kittens and when they get bigger, I’ll purchase another Roverlund bag.

Very sturdy. My dog had plenty of room in the carrier. The top opening is easy to put the dog inside. The added leash is great!

I do not write reviews very often but had to for this item.Having to take my sick kitty across the country for some specialized care I needed a new carrier.It is stylish but very functional.My sweet boy did pee in the carrier on the flight and it held all of his urine. It cleaned up very easily, I soaked the inside with vinegar and hot soapy water for about 2 hours. Rinsed and hung to dry.It also has a Velcro strap on the side that allows it to be fitted to the pull thingy that comes up from the suitcase to pull/push the luggage. It was awesome for going through the airport and waiting in lines.It is great build quality.It cameSuper fast and I would definitely purchase again.My boy is a big cat and has to lay down in it but that’s ok. We used someAnxiety meds from the vet and he napped for most of the 7 hours he was in it.

This carrier is well built and sturdy however there was not enough ventilation for our dog, and was heavily panting, in reaching and opening the carrier it was warm insides

I have traveled with my cat for years. Its possible I was doing it incorrectly because the part of travel where you remove cat from carrier, carry him/her through TSA security screening (pray you don't get a random check) and then wait for the carrier to come back out of the x-ray screener is fraught with uncertainty. Will the cat come willingly out of carrier and it is easy to access the cat? Will the cat run away even if on leash because there is a moment where the leash is not in your hand until the carrier is opened? Will the cat claw you and try and run away out of your arms? Sometimes this moment of going through the metal detector and waiting for the bag is uncomfortably long!The roverlund changes this. The animal is leashed inside the carrier. So you open carrier (side or top, as you wish), attach a new leash securely, unattach the roverland leash (while now holding your new travel leash) and take animal through security. Because leash is either always attached or in your hand you can freely fully open the roverlund with zero chance of animal escaping. Reduced stress all around.Plus this thing looks cool. Hopefully amazon will carry more color choices in the future. Fantastic design.

This was an amazing purchase for traveling with our dog! I do wish it had a luggage sleeve or slits to rest it securely on top of a carry-on. When we’re traveling, our dog uses the bag as a bed, which is super convenient. Other than that small detail, the bag is great!
